  • All her music is Orthodox, btw

  • Lovely video, should really be pronounced Ayia Sofia, the g is like an english y. the first letter is silent. It's East Roman, or Orthodox, Greek words, in Greek means 'Holy Wisdom'

  • Shut the fuck up, you are both fucking morons. This is a video about a goddamn church, not an arena. Please, pursue your stupid scuffle in private.

  • The Hagia Sophia was hardly the "First Christian Cathedral" since the current structure was not consecrated until A.D. 537 and even the first church built in that location was not dedicated until A.D. 360, centuries after the Church had established the episcopal system with the "kathedra" as the seat of the Bishop.

Constantinople itself didn't even exist until A.D. 330, some three centuries after the beginning of the Church and wasn't recognized by Rome as a patriarchate until the 5th century.

  • I can see how transformative your practice of the Dharma has been. You take criticism without ego.

  • The constant mispronunciations of the very amateur voiceover are very distracting.

  • @polemeros Boo hoo! Well I will have to scold that unpaid student and me, unpaid too, on my own time. She should learn Greek for a 101 class Gosh darn it!

  • @MrNMT69 The Statue of Liberty was given to the America's as a gift. The Hagia Sophia was never actually given as a gift to anyone. Let us look at the history of this church to see how it was taken away.

  • Nice video, but the narrator REALLY needs to work on her pronunciation of Greek words - especially works like AGHIA. It's really grating to hear these words butchered.

  • First, Norman's were brought by Leo III to kill those who opposed his bogus church. Charlemange (after Leo made him Emperor) used his armies at Leo's whims. Leo figured that Rome could rule the world with religion easier and cheaper than with armies. He couldn't sell his BS any other way. Benedict is having the same old problem. God chose the Greeks to bring the world Christianity and Leo defied God's will. Or, GOD just does things willy nilly. Socrates said "THINK". It's I-ya not Hi-G-ya.

  • Constantinople is the capital of GREECE!

  • Why is everyone fighting and cursing about who built and destroyed what, please what happened has happened, we all suffered. Just admire the beauty of what is left of these beautiful historic monuments and let them be what they are. Every culture religion, race, culture and cult has done one thing wrong or another, so leave the past behind and embrace humanity.

  • We will be taking this back soon.

  • I think that the European Union should impose the turning of Hagia Sophia into a church once more as a condition for Turkey to join the EU.

  • Is there any Byzantine video I can visit without the constant Turks vs Greeks fights? Yes, taking the past into consideration it's sad that both Constantinople and the Empire fell, but come on, it's been over 5 centuries now. Both Turkey and Greece can be proud of the heritage. And also, for smartasses that are like "oooh, Istanbul, what a stupid name, I want my Constantinople back, boohoo", take into consideration that the name comes from the Greek "the city", transliterated as istimbolin.

  • ESSETAI HMAR

WASH YOUR DIRTY MOUTH BEFORE SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT MOHAMMED AND OUR HOLY BOOK U BASTARD.....U CHRISTANS MURDERS ARE KILLING EVERYDAY INNOCENT PEOPLE BUT OUR TIME WILL COME

  • Islam comes with 3C objectives: 1. To Confirm 2. To Correct 3. To Complete the revelations before the Qur'aan..that means to complete all the religions in the Universe..

  • ...It is not a museum as Turks want to call it . IT IS A MONUMENT. They are extremelly afraid to call it as such......All hummanity knows by common sence that a museum is the building.... that includes the exhibits...A building like Agia Sofia, or the Parthenon ,or the Colosieum ARE MONUMENTS ....Not buildings....It is like calling Stonehenge......a museum instead of a monument ....Simply a rediculus assuption.....

  • So it's totally fine for Muslims to steal a Christian temple and make it into a mosque...but God forbid that happens the other way around! I wonder how Muslims would react to a simple mosque being turned into a church.

This is a very typical action of the Muslims throughout history. Just like they robbed us Christians of Santa Sofia and Constaninople, the exact same way they robbed the Jewish people of the temple of Solomon in Jerusalem.

  • @StreetDriftRacer don complain Turkey is not Christian Nation Jew have no connection of the temple of solomon they worship at the ruins of wall of previous temple which was destroyed by Romans

  • i agree that the turks are a jelous and bastard race, that have to steal things to claim it as their own.

  • people dont seem to get the idea of hagia sophia..before the ottoman re-made it it was RUBBISH...srsly it got REBUILD 3 times god knows how much time it got repaired.and there was no single great engineering in it.which is the exact opposite of hagia sophia right know.i live in turkey and as long as i know the hagia sophia didnt even CRACKED since it was rebuild...by the way the ottomans didnt touched any of you jews cathedral.there are still MANY cathedrals just in istanbul and the rest

  • What would Jesus say? you asked. Muslims are following a false prophet. Repent and believe in the Messiah who shed His blood for your sins.

  • Jealousy is a disgusting thing...

  • The young lady sounds like a nice person, but to compare the two mosques to Hagia Sophia is like comparing the original Last Supper to the popular copies we see everywhere. The mosaics alone are priceless. You are both right - both Greek and Roman. Orthodox should be proud, but this was an Orthodox/Catholic Church before the split. It is part of the common heritage of mankind. Be nice.

  • This is a good example of how Muslim conquerors have abducted every major holy site of the nations they have conquered, and transformed them into mosques. They have done so in order to wipe out any memory of the earlier cultures and traditions.

I hope that the st. Sofia cathedral will one day be returned to it's rightful owner - the eastern Christian church. I also hope that the temple of Solomon in Jerusalem be returned to the Jewish people.

  • @elbazart pathetic jew.

  • @elbazart. in the case of buddhism, they destroyed the statues of buddha and burned the sutras. im not just talking about bamiyan and the taliban. this has been going on in the past over hundreds of years. they also destroyed the one of the oldest universities in the world, older than Oxford, the Buddhist Nalanda University and burned down its central library which was even larger building than alexandria's library. yes islam has a long record...

  • @elbazart You're an idiot, aren't you? The Jewish Temple has been gone for almost two thousand years. There is no need for a Temple.

  • @RidiculouslyLuis Who are you to say to that "we don't need a temple".

I, as an atheist, so not wish to pray in this temple. However I do consider it to be a crucial part of my Jewish culture and heritage, and the fact that Jews are not allowed to even approach the site of their ancient temple, nor to excavate it for archeological remains, is an outrage.

  • @elbazart Why would you want to raze down the Dome of the Rock, a site held to much respect by more than a billion people? Now that's an outrage. The Temple holds no importance to modern Jewish worship. Why don't you look up the history of your faith after the Jewish-Roman War? Only a fringe of Jews care about the Temple.

  • @RidiculouslyLuis I never said I wanted to raze down the dome of the rock.

I only said that I wish for Jews to have access to the temple mount (nowadays they are prohibited), and I would like for archeological excavations in the site, in search for Jewish artifacts.

You probably don't know that, but in the past few years the Jordanian Waqf, which is in charge of the temple mount, has been systematically digging up the site, destroying all archeological findings that may...tbc

  • @elbazart ...that may be laying beneath it.

They are doing so in order to erase any proof of Jewish existence in the area. They are claiming that the temple of Salomon never existed, and that it was never a Jewish holy site.

Any historian or archeologist, any person with a conscience should be outraged by this rewriting of history.

Many Jews hold this spot to be the most sacred of all for them. Who are you to deny them access?

  • @elbazart Solomon is a muslim and Aqsa mosque is the only place should to be here, you want to destroyed this beautiful mosque and build the satan temple house, israel is the most dangerous and terroist state at this history, the muslims will Liberate their own land

  • @yaser9909 Your foul language proves my point exactly.

Islam has no respect for other religions, and feels free to conquer and destroy their places of worship.

  • Agia Sofia (from the Greek: Ἁγία Σοφία, "Holy Wisdom"; Latin: Sancta Sophia or Sancta Sapientia; Turkish: Aya Sofya)

Designed by a Greek, Anthemius of Tralles (c. 474 – before 558; Greek: Ἀνθέμιος ὁ Τραλλιανός) was a Greek professor of Geometry in Constantinople (present-day Istanbul in Turkey) and architect, who collaborated with Isidore of Miletus to build the church of Hagia Sophia by the order of Justinian I.

Do your research correctly, this video is not accurate.

    MrNMT69 harsh but right.

  • @777rogerthat Thanks my friend. I know Im right!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This was not built by the Romans you dumb ass. Agia Sophia is Greek. The Turks are a bastard race that have given nothing to the world.

  • @MrNMT69 So hostile you are and racist too. I believe you find that Constantine - who built Hagia Sophia - was a ROMAN emperor. You will also find reference to the Byzantine Empire as the Eastern ROMAN empire as well. Greeks were but one ethnicity in the Roman Empire. The Turks have done so MUCH for the world...the Blue and Suleyman Mosques, for example, far eclipse Hagia Sophia in stature and beauty.

  • @opensourcebuddhism You are right; Byzantium consisted of Slavs, Illyrians, Anatolians, Assyrians and Arabs, and its army was similarly cosmopolitan in nature (the elite Varangian guard consisted of Saxons and Norsemen).

And the emperor who built Hagia Sophia in its current form, Justinian, who was also the empire's greatest, was from modern-day Skopje and spoke Latin as his first language.

  • @ak981260 That is so fascinating ak981. I had no idea of Saxons and Normans in the Byzantine army - the elite corps no less. I hadn't also known Justinian's native language was Latin. Thanks for corroborating my response to MrNMT. Skopje sure has fallen from its glory days as a capitol. I imagine they moved the capitol inland as turks encroached? Thanks for the data, like to hear more about the Byzantine Empire.

  • @opensourcebuddhism Skopje was never the capital; Justinian resided at Constantinople during his reign, although when he reconquered Italy he moved the capital to Ravenna (it was easier to defend than Rome). When Italy was lost shortly after Justinian's death, it moved back to Constantinople. The Turks were never really seen as a threat until they invaded Armenia, and after the defeat at Manzikert in the 11th century that was really the beginning of the end.

  • @ak981260 thanks again for the extra data. So many empires, so little time! Much obliged to know that the 11th century saw the beginning of the end of Byzantium with the defeat by Turks at Manikert. I am sure the Crusader armies did not stop them and a friend informed me that a volcano eruption roughly Justinian's time trashed a great number of economies around the globe. Byzantium survived, weakened.

  • @opensourcebuddhism

The Byzantines didnt fall because of the crusaders, they fell because after the Komnenians the angeloi couldnt administer the empire and ruined it economically. The 4th crusade really did a number on it, but it wouldn't of survived anyway. Look into Alexius I and Manuel I komnenus, theyy are really cool

  • @opensourcebuddhism Actually it was not a volcano, it was the biggest plouge has ever seen(at that time) killed more than 100.000.000 people. Justinian was a victim of the illness too. Even though he survived, most people says He was highly unstable after that. Empire had a lot of trouble with her economy to. It is propably the reason Roman Empire could not unit

Great video by the way Thanks.

  • @ak981260 I am not sure where did you get that information. Birth place of Justin and Justinian are not known it is speculated that it could be Tauresium village near Scupi but some believe it could be nearer Justiniana Prima town Justinian built i 6th century. Also Ravenna was never a capital during Justinian age he never it was a capital of Exarchate of Ravenna(whole Italy) not Empire. Italy was not lost after Justinian died Exarchate existed til 751. And South Italy was Byzantine till 12cen

  • @Mozzarab Yes, looking back, I now realise I made a few errors. I should have said that Ravenna was the seat of local government when Italy was taken. Constantinople remained the imperial capital.

As for Justinian's birthplace, it has been speculated that he was born near Justiniana Prime, which is near Serbia, but many scholars are of the belief that Tauresium was a small village on the outskirts of modern-day Skopje in Macedonia.

  • @opensourcebuddhism Constantine didnt build Hagia Sophia..

The building that we can see nowadays was built by Justinian..in the 6th century, by that time there was no 'Eastern' or 'Western' roman empire, there was only the Byzantine empire with greek culture and not latin.

  • @opensourcebuddhism Actually, Justinian built Hagia Sophia and by the 6th century, the western roman empire had already fell and the eastern roman empire had already suffered an hellenization project.

AND you should also know that the building was designed by an ARMENIAN engineer.

So basically, its greek and armenian.

  • @opensourcebuddhism hi,the roman empire first language was greek not latin.the romans have always claimed trojan GREEK heritage.latin was only introduced into church ceremonies after 300 ad.that is why the bible was ORIGINALLY written in GREEK for the gentiles.the agia survey is unique, its true meaning has never been disclosed.why do you think ataturk turned into a museum.ATATURK was NO FOOL.

  • @opensourcebuddhism your GLORIUS as you say mosques were built by architect sinan which was from GREEK origin and also the Eastern ROMAN empire as you say their language was GREEK their MAIN culture was GREEK all the name of the cities were GREEK and also the hagia sophia is one of the medieval wonders of the world (none of your mosques are) and the church has been used as a model for your mosques such as the Blue Mosque the sehzade Mosque, the Suleymani Mosque, and others

  • @MrNMT69 :D:D:D. We have a saying in Turkish, if you do not have the guts to do anything, just go and shit on your anger. a few thousand ancient disappeared greeks have no improtance to anyone but greeks. So what, you can swear, shout, cry or do whatever you like, Istanbul is Turkish and will remain so. And for your info, Hagia Spohia was built by the Romans and that is an undeniable fact.

  • @MrNMT69 obviously you have not seen the Blue Mosque........

  • @MrNMT69 YOU ARE A BASTARD...U ARE THIEVES...U ARE LIERS...U ARE NOT GREEKD..GENETİCALLY U ARE NOT THE FOLLOWERS OF ANCIENT GREEKS..U ARE A MİXTURE CAUSE WE ARE YOUR FATHERS..WE RULED ALL THE BALKANS 600 YEARS...ASK UR MOM AND RESPECT YOUR FATHERS SON OF BITCHHHHH..ISTANBUL IS ISTANBUL AND AYA SOFYA IS A MOSQUE AND WILL STAY FOREVER AS A MOSQUE U MORON

  • @Gitanes1972 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH

Last time i checked history, the Balkan countries chased you Turks out. Keep on running you Mongol Turd. Keep on Running

  • @MrNMT69 Mongol... Wow... And I'm the uneducated troll... You're about 3000 miles out but almost the same continent, well done. I have an Archaeology Masters from Southampton University in Near-Eastern Medieval Architecture... Probably the most uneducated person for this kind of argument clearly. You're just bigoted and racist, and therefore I was wrong in calling you Sir.

  • PsAgent..I gonna fuck you mother and sister bastard....don't come to our land, we won't see rats like u, cause u a moron whose brain is washed...

StreetDriftRacer..go to Hungary to Pecs..enter into Google..u will see that the austrians converted our mosque into a church..I was there this summer just to see all the holy place for us ..at Zsigetvar, Mohacs, Pecs, Kaposvar...How my ancesstors fucked the crusaders..WHERE THE TURKS RULED 600 YEARS, THERE WAS NO UNHAPPY NATION UNTILL U BASTARDS

  • @Gitanes1972 We have a saying in Greece and it says

"No matter how many times you give a Turk a cake of soap to wash with your waisting your soap".

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH

  • @MrNMT69 Greece was also under the control of the Byzantine Empire under Justinian at the time of the second phase of the Hagia Sophia wich you describe. ('H' being a contested letter in Greek translation). Even if for example, Greece was a completely separate continent, The fact that the structure itself is situated in modern-day Turkey means that it is therefore Turkish. In the same way that the Statue of Liberty was designed by Frenchman, Gustave Eiffel, yet is clearly an AMERICAN structure.

  • @HarmLess7 the statue if liberty was built to a land the the french never had and it was A GIFT!!! hagia sophia was built by greeks TO GIVE TO THE GREEKS!!(end of story)

  • @polor89 1... The Hagia Sophia, phase 1, 360AD, under the control and inauguration of Constantine I, was built and designed by Byzantines, or as you would call them Turks. The Second Phase of the church, 10th October 413AD under Theodosius, was built by a man living in what you would now call Greece, but was a Byzantine. The 3rd and final church was built by a physicist, Isidore of Miletus and a mathematician, Anthemius of Tralles, both of them from cities under Turkish rule... so... Turkish?

  • @HarmLess7 BYZANTINE GREEKS they all have GREEK NAMES and they have a greek consiousnece

  • @polor89 The Byzantine Empire was AKA The EASTERN ROMAN EMPIRE...

  • @HarmLess7 it is JUST A NAME!!!!!!!!

  • @polor89 Thats not what I was arguing about, dont worry. Just some racist douche-bag.

  • @HarmLess7

The statue of liberty was a gift from France to America. Constantinople and with that Hagia Sophia, was conquered by a foreign people after centuries of worship, building and living. Huge diffrence. The city is essentially an old great european city - Constantinople. Speaking of Hagia Sophia, the only thing added to the cathedral during the years is some minerats basicly. Its clearly not Turkish.

  • @JimmyReptile1 Your argument is half right mate, I agree that its a Christian building which has been taken over by Muslims in the 15 Century but it has always been made for the worship of those living in Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul, Turkey. Therefore it has always been and will always be Turkish. but It should be Christian not Muslim to be fair...

  • @AegeanKing Faggot Greeks were living in a very convenient geography in the Aegean while Turks had to survive in the very hostile, cold and barren steppes and boondocks of remote Central Asia. Also Greeks took advantage of other civilazations, your ancient gods and myths come from ancient Thracians, your scientists benefitted from Egypt, Mesopotamia and the Hittites, even the Greek alphabet is derived from the PHOENICIAN. Stupid ortho-Dog AegeanPrincess, stop playing the online hero.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing My ancestors were tough survivalists, reigning for aeons in a tough place were faggot Greeks could not have survived one week, while your ancestors loved to indulge in homosexuality and pederasty. And without the scientific expertise you gained also from other civilazations way in advance you just could not have built the temples and even the Hagia Sophia. Look at the advantages you gained from the Egyptians, Mesopotamians and Hittites, so don`t point at us Greek faggot.

  • @AegeanKing In South Western China there is Tibet my bastard neighbor. Do you know how the geography of Tibet looks like? And second, Turks were not anywhere near in South Western China. There are Uygur Turks living in the harsh area of NORTH Eastern China. You know the Taklamakan? Its not like fertile land of milk and honey in the warm Aegean and Mediteranean with sea and waterways all over. You conveniently like to ignore the important role of geography in developing civilizations.

  • @AegeanKing We certainly have obtained some influence from Byzantine, as well as other influences like Persian and Arabic. Generally speaking, it just so happened that the Turkic influence from Central Asia brought this all together and opened new chapters. Thats what made Turk. culture so unique and precious. Our culture was authentic AND eclectic. Btw, the Hagia Sophia is famous for its height, but somekind of bleak and cold while the Blue Mosque is more beautiful and more refined.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing Sure, the Hagia Sophia was unique and unbeaten for a long time, no doubt. Yet the Blue Mosque has a much better response, as tourist polls show this clearly. Anway, the question is actually another. The question is: could it have been reasonable and viable to build a Hagia Sophia, parthenon or a pyramid thousand years ago in a place like Siberia or in the hostile steppes of remote Central Asia? Of course not. As a true Greek bastard, you ignore this fact completely.

  • @AegeanKing Why are you talking about SOUTHwest China again you fuckin know nothing low-life? You should knew the directions already. LOL. Uygur Turks are located in the NORTHwest, and in the SouthWest lies Tibet. Understand? And its the East part of China which is more convenient, which has access to ocean and waterways, not the harsh West part. Stupid AegeanPrincess. And anyone who is not retarded as you can see the importance that geography played for propspering civilizations.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing You´re a Greek dumbfuck. "Yes, exactly my point. Turks can travel THOUSANDS of miles to Anatolia and Europe but they can not go to Southwest China" What is your point? Your sentence makes no sense. Again: prospering civilizations in Mesopotamia, Mediteranean., Egypt along the Nile, Aegean, Indus Valley etc. They all have a convenient geography in common. Its entertaining how you try to elude this fact. Remember your defeat everytime you look eastwards my bastard neighbor.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing For the umpteenth time you sub-human greek-dog: In SouthWest China are the Highlands of Tibet and they have nothing to do with Turks. IDIOT. Think before you write. And it is no coincidence that the ancient Chinese civilization flourished in the convenient, warm/moderate and agriculturally rich region of EASTERN China, with ocean and seaways all over. Just like in ancient Mesopatmia, Egypt, Indus Valley, Aegean, Mesoamerica, Mediteranean. Learn history of civilization.

To troll everytime on sites about Turkey and Turks and to swear at them from your keyboard in front of your screen, calling us this and that. It is pathetic to pretend being a Russian and make up a false identity on YouTube to agitate groups against each other or for whatever interesting reasons you else have. Its pathetic to blame Turks for causing tension but yet you throw a fit and try to provoke them whenever you can.

  • @AegeanKing What I tell you is no bullshit and you just can`t refute my claim. Deal with it. Convenient geography was not sufficient, but absolutely prerequiste for ancient civilizations to flourish. This counted for every single one. Did geography played really no role for the Phoenicians, Egyptians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Chinese etc.? Or in the Indus Valley? And now look at the societies like in Scandinavia, Central Europe or Central Asia at the same time. Ignorant Greek pederast

  • @AegeanKing Balyan familiy?? There is nothing wrong with the Armenian-Ottoman and therefore Armenian-Turkish Balyan family. Don`t you get it? The problem were Armenian Taşnak gangs in the East who sided with Imperial Russia in a war, in the beginnings of the 20th century and where our declining state was faced with extortion. Btw, the same Russians who extinguished the Circassians from the Caucasus and those who survived found shelter in the Ottoman Empire. Eat shit Greek dumbfuck.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing Nope, it IS synonymous. The Ottoman Empire was also called the Turkish Empire. Same with the Seljuks. Or the numerous different Turkish principalities. They may had different names, but Turks were always the titularnation. The name "Turkish Republic" was merely the first official one. And the Balyans were Ottomans of Armenian ancestry. Like Byzantines of Slavic ancestry. In the Republican sense, Turks of Armenian ancestry. And the "Stealing" you mentioned is your fantasy.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing They were Arab OTTOMANS during the Empire, and an Arab in the Republic became a Turk with Arabian ancestry. The Balyans identified firstly as Ottomans, Ottomans of Armenian ancestry and no, I don`t have the slightest problem with it so you can drop the drama. To be honest, its somehow pathetic as much it is idiotic that you try to take ancient wars on todays agenda. Typical populist behaviour. Can you imagine the world full of dumbfucks like you AegeanClown? Better not.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing Repel it as you want, but the members of the Balyan family were firstly Ottomans. Ottoman citizens, born and raised within the Ottoman culture, Ottoman state and society, being a part of it. Ottomans with Armenian ancestry. And because Ottoman was also used synonymous with Turk, they are regarded also as Armenian-Turkish. Nobody has a problem with their Armenian ancestry, so stop making shit up.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing Listen AegeanClown, the only one who wants to make believe that "Turks don`t like the fact that Armenians built" something is you. I mean, this is so fuckin stupid that I start to wonder even more about what is going on in your traumatized fascist greek mind. You seem to be stoked and to masturbate on that but there was no, absolutely no objection against any ancestry of anyone who contributed in this state and because there was no racism, everyone could get included.

  • @AegeanKing People here are proud of their Central Asian origin AS WELL as any other ancestry is included and accepted. For us there is no antipode. We know how to live together, but don`t let mess with our unity either which AegeanClowns need to know. Whats with our cities again you delirious fucky troll? They are "built by you"? You are high on megali drugs, there are historical remnants like in Efes or the Ayasofa, but there are only Turkish cities wherever you go here. Get sober

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing You give one retarded comment after the other but I got used to it though. So besides the sword-waving Turks everybody else was a peaceloving pacifist holding an olive branch, right? If the wars and reprisals of the past anger you why are you not able to acknowledge that this was common practice in literally every part of the world considering the time? You have a typical Greek behaviour, that is to bring up wars from dark ages on the agenda of TODAY as justification.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing Delirious and distorting. 1. this "Turkish horde" didn`t attack "peaceful cities" but the Byzantine Army. There is a huge difference. 2. your deep rooted inferiority complex against Turks makes you completely ignore countless other wars between groups and societies all over for whatever reasons they had in the past. The Slavs for example attacked you countless times and one reason they got acculturated by Byzantine was because Byz. was near, stronger and victorious.

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing "But Greeks had more philosophers, scientists etc. so they are superior. In fact, Greeks invented the world!" You don`t know how often I hear that kind. Of course I know you like to masturbate to that and there are surely great achievments by greeks. But you keep ignoring how this happened AFTER Greek hordes, Achaeans, swept down from the north to the warm and convenient Aegean, getting an alphabet from Phoenicians, learning science from Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Hittites

  • Comment removed

  • @AegeanKing Greeks were able to prosper not least because of their beneficial location. Greek societies were lucky and smart and located their faggot asses always in convenient, warm/moderate regions, always near the coast and seaways for trade, fertile land around for agriculture etc. And the ancient Greek colonies had aeons of time to prosper there. On the other hand, Turks lived in the hostile and barren steppes, boondocks and deserts of remote Central Asia with winters up to -70°

  • @AegeanKing @TheMadMuscovite BlaBlaBlaBla, you refuted nothing idiot. You don`t even know the directions, for the tenth time you talk about Southwest China where TIBET lies. LMFAO!!. Stupid greekie. All you do is to toot your own horn day in day out. Keep on masturbating to your pederast ancestors. Btw, do you actually know that you do not just snub Turks, but also many others? The Vikings for example, which must be inferior according to your mindset. Maybe everyone besides you.

  • @AegeanKing @TheMadMuscovite "FUCK OFF. Stop stalking me. Stop following me" You`re the one who is spouting out anti-Turkish nonsense and who provocates on a regular basis. So when every second comment from you is a pathetic and stupid attempt to disparage, what kind of response do you expect? Cause and effect. If somebody is obsessed here, than this one is you. You just feel compelled to leave your mental poop on sites about Turks and Turkey. YOU should fuck off AegeanClown.

  • @AegeanKing Wrong AegeanPrincess, and you have some serious misconceptions. YOU are trying to bother Turks, YOU are trying to provoke and trying to get some attention in your life. I was not responding you for no reason. Try to stick to your own kind instead of addressing Turks and spouting out your hostility on a regular basis. I know you don`t like my responses, thats why you created @TheMadMuscovite to get rid of me a few months ago on another site. Miserable AegeanClown, LMFAO!!!

  • @AegeanKing LOL!!! Why are you deleting all your comments now AegeanPrincess?? Coward diaspora-greekie, I guess you stay true to your faggot ancestors. But about your accusation: I`m Turkish, and since your pathetic and shitty comments are mostly aimed to disparage and provoke Turks, I feel somehow addressed. But maybe you`re right, I should not take notice of you and your pitiful level too much. Bye bye AegeanClown!

  • @zicco26 I am deleting my comments so you can FUCK OFF! I am not even a diaspora Greek you fucking troglodytic twat. You are like a fucking disease that keeps coming back. Fuck off and stop stalking me. You obviously have a homosexual obsession with me since you cant seem to leave me alone. FUCK OFF MONGOL!

  • @AegeanKing wow your a sick puppy are you greek? i hope your not cause i would hate to have someone like represent my culture or heritage!!

  • @STREETWHEELZ your culture? I bet you dont even speak Greek!

  • @AegeanKing holy crap this guy loves you man,

  • @z34gtpz28 Yes, I know, he follows me wherever I go.

  • @AegeanKing bro that would drive nuts. followers always try to make a point. (loooosers)

  • @z34gtpz28 Thats not even the worst part. The worst part is that he says the EXACT same thing over and over and over again. He will go to every video I go to, purposefully find me, and then repeat himself.

  • @AegeanKing let it go dude, this is youtube and you know as well as i do people will continue the argument, with insults, bieng arrogant, acting tough, think there smarter then everyone else in the world. as far as hagia sophia is concerned we all know what is coming. take care.

  • @AegeanKing @z34gtpz28 You both are wrong. It is not me but the AegeanClown who is jumping like a locust from one Turkish related site to another just to throw a fit and trying to provoke and insult. So actually this AegeanPrincess is getting more "tough" than me. On a regular basis and in the first place. "He says the exact same thing over and over again" LOL!!! You just described your OWN behaviour, how can you forget your standard patterns like "4 wives and a Yurt"? Stupid clown.

  • @AegeanKing You mention the historic wars between Arabs and Turks, which had multiple reasons, others can mention the countless wars between Christian nations and empires. Also, Turkey has today good relations with the Arab world. So you fail again. And do you want to know whats actually pathetic AegeanClown? A desperate Diaspora-Greek, who doesn`t know where to discahrge his inferiority complex else but in front of a computer on Turkish YT sites, trolling and annoying. You just fail

  • @AegeanKing You want so bad to segregate the people in the Ott. State into their ethnicities. To call the Balyan family Armenian is not wrong, but not accurate either. They were firstly Ottomans of Armenian ancestry. I mean, you don`t call in America Italian-Americans or African-Americans Italian or African. They are Americans with certain ancestries. You can also use the term "Turk" for both: as an ethnical one as well as a term for any member of our society and state, then and now.

  • @AegeanKing You refer to wars which happened aeons and thousands years ago. Armies against armies. You refer to settlements. Like Greeks used to settle also, coming from abroad and settled in Anatolia and elswhere. With your logic, you "stealed" also, whatever that means. Not to mention literally every other nation in the world. But even being defeated thosands of years ago Armenians as well Greeks were still living there until the WW1 and the upcoming nationalism which sparked it.

  • @AegeanKing If I go with your superb logic, Greeks need to go back to the Danube Valley also. Thats where the Achaeans, the first Hellenic tribes, stem from before they arrived in the Aegean. According to you, technically speaking I´m right, so fuck off from the Aegean. Applying on others, Serbs, Russians, Americans etc etc. also do not belong to where they live. This is what your brain generates? And where do you actually gonna draw the line? You are an idiot through and through.

  • @AegeanKing Oh sure!!! You`re the one who eagerly plays the tough online hero, who can only try to provoke Turks day in, day out from your PC in your basement in Canada or London but yet you call me a loser? LMFAO!!! Keep on entertaining me AegeanClown :)
