this may be illegal, however it is anything but extreme. they used a seated rappel harness, bounded all the way down, and it looked as if they were only 60ft or so off the ground... lame. do an aussie or spider man rappel off a cliff face or chopper 100ft+ and then maybe you can call yurself extreme

One anchor point.! the big gay truck is too close increasing the rope load on the wall. he abseils like he pood his pants. As you see at 1:47 he has the gate pointed downwards. I guess it doesn't make such a big differance. It was just something I learned and try to follow. Simple, its single rope rappelling so you don't need someone at the bottom to hold the other end, all you need is an anchor at the top, and if you're using a typical atc, you only put the rope through one loop.

I agree that this is lame, but there was nothing dangerous, or 'extreme' about what they did. They had a solid anchor and used proper equipment and rappel techniques(The first guy could have used an autoblock for safety, but it really isn't necessary, especially with a figure-8).
