@young5ever Producer Jon Peters didn't cancel the project. Tim Burton's Superman Lives didn't get beyond preproduction because Warner co-chairman Bob Daly pulled the plug. It was budget heavy, the casting of Nicolas Cage as Superman became a firestorm of controversy and Daly was nervous about doing another big budgeted superhero movie since Joel Schumacher's Batman & Robin had just recently bombed. Daly thought Wild Wild West directed by Barry Sonnenfeld starring Will Smith would be a hit.

Tim Burton's drawings look great! I love his watercolors! This designs should be used in the reboot of the series. I'll be very disappointed if in the Zack Snyder´s version, the main villain is Lex Luthor AGAIN!

Braniac reminds me of the head alien in the movie "Invaders from Mars." I like everything about this except Nick Cage playing Superman. I specially like the designs for Braniac and Doomsday. Plus it makes sense that only Braniac could bring back a dead Superman.

this probably wouldn't fo worked for Superman... however if this Superman movie had been made, I would of watched it anyways. I really think this could of worked as an Alternate Universe Superman and an Alternate Universe Brainiac... but then again, I like the darker, artistic, and creepy thing...

For some reason, the concept art of Brainaic reminds me of the Banana King from Charlie the Unicorn 2.

I sorta like the head in a jar concept, and some of Burton's designs for the movie, but it's just not Superman.
