@glamazini Oh, sorry. I meant the twist updo. I can never get my twists to be pinned in any sort of reasonable manner.

OMG!! My husband and I had the same thing happen with a contractor once...we were looking to have our windows done and he stayed for over two hourse...we couldn't get him out!...I even used my kids as an excuse saying I had to put them to bed...he still wouldn't leave!! AND when we finally gave hime the boot he said he had to call his supervisor and put my hubby on the phone with the guy...nuts...needless to say...we didn't get the windows :-)

The updo was gorgeous. I just got over the flu. My hair was due to be washed before I got sick so now it's just...well, there are no words. I guess I'll tackle it this weekend. I just had a contractor experience, if was with a roofer. Lord he was selling hard. I mean how long can we talk about my roof??? I wanted to scream.

Girl, my husband wanted me to do the same thing...get it faded...lol! I know it's hair it will grow back, but THAT I am NOT doing! LOve that they love our hair...however!!!! Your braid and twist outs were quite cute!

In the winter I usually go 3-4 weeks before I wash, hence my video "twist out on dirty hair" And I wash my hair once a week in the summer. But I am a teacher so I'm off during the summer months :)

The reason why I asked is that ive noticed that people with very long hair only tend to wash their hair once a month, thats why I asked such a obvious question, to be honest it didn't look to bad from here, however if was smelling frouzy, then .................

I understand you! The sentiment about wanting to cut, but then loving the length and the back and forth -- that's real. My approach? I told myself, "If I still feel this way in three months, I'll cut it." And sure enough, three months later I cut it off, and was perfectly fine with it. I did miss the length sometimes, but it didn't "hurt" you know what i mean?

@Iamsonotmyhair :: Well remember I did wash with it in the braids so it wasn't totally 2 full months BUT it was still dirty to another level at that point. Uh .... about your bag ... yeah ...

Just out of couriousity just how dirty was your hair when you finally washed it?

@maryapatterson :: It was dirty with a capital EW. I washed with regular old Suave because I needed some "clarifying/stripping" action to insure maximum clean. I do not recommend not washing for that long at all #theshame.

I feel you with not being up to shampooing your hair lol. The longer mine get the lazier I have become. I used to shampoo 1x/wk. That was a looonngg time ago :-)

It may have taken a long time to take the braids down but that braid out is CUTE!!!! How did you like the Karite detangler? I really like it.
