Bill Alexander died in 1997 but many years before that he taught my mother and in turn she taught many people. I had just got married and left home. My mom died 3 years ago and now I decided i should paint and who better than the man who taught my mom. I found that I can do anything he shows me (it's amazing) Through these videos I feel I my mom is here too. Thanks to whoever puts these out.

The background, I think, is done in a very fine and detailed way. But the grove of trees on the right hand side looks unnatural because of the odd angles of the highlights painted over the dark green.
