  • happy little road, almighty brush

  • Watching Bill always makes me think, that while his results end up more detailed, Bob's style still remains somehow more refined.

  • @repka17 I like Bill, but always thought he was kind of a twat for acting like he invented a centuries old method. He certainly may have been the first to use it as the total technique, but sheesh.

  • I could watch and listen to Bill for hours.

All you needed was a big brush and the fan brush, what a relief from all the other accessories of painting.... Thank you thank you thank you... You can see my video of my humble emerging work on you tube go to "liz aya, oil paintings on canvas"

  • Bill Alexander died in 1997 but many years before that he taught my mother and in turn she taught many people. I had just got married and left home. My mom died 3 years ago and now I decided i should paint and who better than the man who taught my mom. I found that I can do anything he shows me (it's amazing) Through these videos I feel I my mom is here too. Thanks to whoever puts these out.

  • @showagirl QUE GRAN PERDIDA!! PINTABA MARAVILLOSO,

  • Mr. Alexander, you are my new art teacher. I watched your videos on the forest trail, and attempted to paint it. I didn't do too bad for it being my 2nd painting ever. Wish I could show you so you could tell me what it needs. Thanks so much for all your videos. I will be watching more of them. I'm a nursing student, and we are advised to find an outlet. I have definitely found mine!

  • this is one the best video...vvv gud....

  • This guy is making love with the canvas...epic

  • welcome...visit GPABSKY.com website for the ARTIST. ty!

  • The background, I think, is done in a very fine and detailed way. But the grove of trees on the right hand side looks unnatural because of the odd angles of the highlights painted over the dark green.

  • @equitably i dont think those are meant to highlight the tree, i think thats a diff tree standing infront of the green one, or so i interpret it.

  • thank u for showing! so beautiful.............

  • i love you so much Alexander, thank you :)))

  • I would like to thank you, you just make it easy and fun. it's great

  • this guy is 95 years old?!!! Fuck me

  • @IEatVideoClips sorry but no; he died in 97. That was a sad time, to lose such a magnificent gentleman.

  • pragmatika enas apo tus kaliterus zwgrafous !!

    toso simpathitikos ! :)

  • i could listen to the "happy little scratcher" all day against the grain of the canvas. it's such a relaxing sound. i loved it when bob ross used the knife, too.

  • @christentze Wow! I thought I was the only person in the world that also finds it relaxing. The sound of the knife, or some one drawing with a pencil or charcoal. Nice!

  • @jjaagg5050 it's pretty much an auditory orgasm. lol.

  • @christentze Ha Ha!! That's funny! I like it!
