I am so glad that the Lord is concerned about the anointing and not our judgments...if it were left up to people...Lord thats all imma say...this is the anointing...
I guesss you guys havent heard of melonie daniels. They are in the same realm and melonie is just crazy. She is absolutely nuts!!!! I am not mad at Stancil though.
Who you think is higher between her and Chrystal Rucker? I would say Rucker especially in her younger days. That high soprano was so loud and vibrant especially on Somewhere Over the Rainbow!
Thank u God for such vessels. had to stop what I was doing and felt d presence of d Holy Spirit I cried saying Jesus I come back to you. This time I know it is 100%. So great to lay down our burdens at His feet there is peace and fullness of joy. We sang this at church last Sunday and it assisted in my decision to love God as I did when I wz younger! With our bodies being the temple (sanctuary) may we carry Him everywhere we go and share the wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ. God bless u all
Top to bottom in one song...she covered her whole range in one song and did it with ease! Truly amazing! Lorraine's gift has to be from God...only HE can do that!!
Love this worship song. This woman is off da chain. Even though she combines full voice and head voice which she uses mostly here, those high notes, apart from some, were in full voice! LAWD! Impossible range! And then she hit those low bass notes! MY!
You are off your rockers if you actually think that she sang that whole thing in her full chest voice. Not even close. That is an inbetween voice that some singers use. It is a mixture between falsetto and full voice. You channel the power of your full voice but the TONE that you use is falsetto. Using this technique you can get as high as you can sing falsetto but you have a full voice power feel to it. But by no means is that full chest voice. Not even close.
I've read what you have written very carefully and I must say to you that it is not a mix-like tone. It is exactly a mix. Whatever you call a curve isnt in any book anywhere, frankly I think youve made it up on very little study. I myself study voice and I am a vocalist, so I have years of this. They are doing exactly that, using a their falsetto tone with an undercurrent chest voice base. Tonex does it, Stancil, melonie, and most other high singers. Not just sopranos buddy listen to tonex.
Oh I am not trying to change anything, just trying to explain it you because you seem to not understand what is going on. Its actually very obvious for any singer to hear, the intonation change. Additonally to add on to a comment you said earlier, yes she sings low but make no mistake by no means is it even close to any bass note. Wow you are being fooled. Because its a woman and she goes low you think its bass? Listen to a real bass and then compare to stancil lets see what you find.
Friend, I am not an inexperienced musician, plus I have a keyboard at home to measure notes with. I know exactly how high/low she is singing throughout. BTW, based on the tone/intonation, in the past, I too would have said she is singing mostly in falsetto... but there are also real ladies whose voices sound like falsetto. Maybe you haven't met none but I have and it's different when you know them cause you realize it's not false. I know exactly what I am talking about. But u be blessed. I'm out
Yeah jboogie is right Karen Clark does it, Patti does it etc. Whitney Houston and Lashun Pace rarely mix there notes. Lashun Pace can belt at least A5 in full voice no problem before mix so can Whitney.....................
Whitney belts in full chest mostly all the time and in her prime could do a full Bb5 in it too. She is the only singer I know can belt that high in full chest no mix what so ever. Whitney can mix to B5/C6 and still think she she can on a crystal clear day. Her soprano is more raspy but she still got the notes when she feels like it.
and it SURE isn't chest like okebaram is saying either. however I think you guys are saying the same thing just calling it two different phenomenom. Lorraine uses a UBER heady mix. She sings like Crystal Rucker. However her tone has little more bite.
She does NOT sing like Tonex and Melonie tho...because T & M's mixes are MUCH more chesty. It does not sound like two different voices. With Lorraine it always does!!
Lorraine is mixing big time, and Melonie Daniels mixes too. Karen can belt high in chest like Whitney but she starts to mix at about F5, but Whitney can do a G5 A5's even in full chest. She still can but it is more thin and raspy. She did on new album but in background vocals.
you are like me. I have noticed for the past several months you make posts in re: to how sounds are produced.
I must say I have studied voice as well and it seems we agree on alot. However I MUST disagree with you here. Lorraine is uses a VERY headY mix. Her high notes don't have the oomph like Nikki Ross, Karen Clark, Kelly (girl from Houston who sang at GTOD)
Whitney mother Cissy but all these sopranos to shame in her youth and prime. You want to hear crazy range it is Ms Cissy Houston. Everyone talks about Patti, but don't sleep Cissy soprano was higher than even hers!
Evang stancil is anointed ! there is none like her ! she cant even be coppied cause she was called by God ! not saying anyone else isnt ! its just blows my mind she does it every time she sings ! kills it !
I agree with you 100%. I am left amazed at the anointing she carries everytime I hear her sing. Videos can not do the it justice. YOu have to really hear her sing in person to fully appreciate, grasp and even understand it...
amen...There is no doubt, God is in your praise sister!!! bless u!!

Whitney not any more...
Karen, Patti, Nikki Ross and Lashun are HEAVY mixers. There is a TON of chest presence in their upper range.

it's a falsetto based one...rather than a chest dominated one
