When he found out that they had sped up the music from a dirge-esque 2/5 (see Dirty Black Summer) to 4/5 ("Boucing Fifths") the band (well, Danzig) realized that it actually sounded better than how he had wrote it, it was supposed to be slow since the band couldn't play that well. When he heard how it sounded they ramped up "Death Comes Ripping" from 2/4 to the ludicrous 8/4 time and wound up finding the blueprint for thrash metal and hardcore

A deathlock is all messed up and has no gel, the hair is just in your face. A Devilock is when you keep the hair on the front of your head long and the back is short. It requires gel to force it forward.
