Honestly, if you can't put emotion into the original melody without hitting every note possible, you aren't being natural with the song,and when you arent being natural, you are losing the true emotion and replacing it with being fancy. @briobrandon911 Christina has a nice voice but she overdoes runs more than anyone, has horrible and unnecessary runs not even fit for the structure of the songs she sings, and she has very little useable range; it's dwindling down more and more as she abuses her voice. I agree that Beyonce's version wasn't my favorite, but I highly doubt Christina actually contributed to her version except for lending her voice because she is not a musician. Herbie Hancock laid everything down I'm sure.
