Aw Man, SPN is done until Jan 28th? So not cool! But let me just say, I Iove the new SPN very much, even more than the last 5 seasons. Sara and Eric took it to another awesome level. I just have to say Jensen/ Dean as death is a BEAUTIFUL sight. He'd make it very easy for me to surrender, if it's his face I'd see when my time is up. Sam getting his soul back OMG! I did scream! Dean is an awesome big brother, he never stopped until he got his Sammy. Hope to see John as the new season commences.

Okay forget it... I've been trying to type all this in the limited text boxes they give me, and youtube keeps borking out. In a nutshell, for me it just felt like the meaningful ending.

In my opinion Season 6 is lacking. On face value it's still better than most shows on tv but it just for me feels like the show should have ended last Season. Still that's just my opinion. For those that enjoy Season 6 good for you! For me I think the journey ended with Swan Song. :)

I hate to say it but this is the last season I'm going to watch. I love Death from last season and all. But Season 6 is just stale. The creator wanted to end it with Season 5, and yeah I believe Swan Song was the last episode. This has just become in my eyes non-canon fan service. I'll miss Sam, Cas, and especially DEAN! *drools* I'm a fan girl, but I'm in it for the story mainly. Though I wouldn't mind if Jensen delivered me a Pizza! XD Still Swan Song was a perfect ending imo. *shrugs*

@diegobarretoorozco I hear what you're saying. It was a very somber ending, and lord knows I cried like a baby watching it. However it flowed so perfectly with the entire shows narrative so well! Yeah it's not a happy ending, but it's a rich ending. One you would rarely see for a Network Television. Sam redeemed himself, in his sacrifice. They defied all odds, against Heaven, Hell, even The Word of God. "Team Free Will" as Dean would say. (continued)

@Cozy2626 Then Sam does it! He takes control of Satan himself with the strength of the bond he has with his brother, and with his self-sacrifice he not only redeems himself. He also finally grows into a man that no longer needs his brother to make sure he does right.

So when all is said and done. Sam is watching over Dean.at the very end. Many speculated her was Lucifer, or maybe Sam. I thought when I first saw it. God saved Sam too. His spirit at least... (cont sorry XD)

@diegobarretoorozco The thing is Freedom comes with a price. As Cas put it to Dean, "What would you rather have, peace or freedom?" Very, very true statement with a great deal of meaning. It wasn't some silly fluff ending, it was a very real very meaningful ending.

Against all odds their most powerful weapon was their so-called weakness throughout the show... their love as brothers! I broke down crying when Dean took that beating and told Sam he wouldn't leave him. (cont)

@Liindsayy14 the bio for this says that dean seeks out Death to help get Sam’s soul back. Death tells Dean he will help Sam if Dean will agree to act as Death for 24 hours.

Sam decides he doesn’t want his soul back and asks Balthazar for a protective spell to keep his soul out of his body. Balthazar tells Sam he needs the blood of his father for the spell to work, and since John Winchester is dead, Sam decides Bobby is the next best thing.

I just started reading a fanfic about a month ago (the fic was actually written over a year ago) where Dean becomes Death. I swear the writers just can't stop taking ideas from the fans. Or they just figure what's in our fics is what we want and thus they give it.

Anyways this is gonna be awesome. I can't wait, after tonight's very exciting episode, it's going to be a long week.
