ok I have 2 bullfrogs and in order to keep there health in check they NEED a mixed diet of crickets mice other frogs fish and occasionally a bird or a snake ( there natural food ) I don't know if i would feed em a parakeet I actually prefer zebra finches but either way it is needed to balance the frogs diet so if you people don't like it DON"T WATCH IT

I got to admit that I was shocked for a second when seeing the parakeet getting killed. I never knew that the horned frogs could also eat birds (I also doubt if the feathers of the bird are good for their digestion)

Looking at some of the flame responses here, I expect that at least half of them owns a dog or a cat and apparantly does not care how the animals in their food ended up dying before being produced into 2 kg biscuits bags. So don't be hypocritic.

By the time the clumsy PETCO employee had finished chasing the birds around the cage to catch one and stuff it protesting and biting into a tiny cardboard box, I'm pretty sure the only thing any of the birds in the whole store expected was to be eaten. They clearly don't assume that we, or any other species, wants to be friends.

Also, the bird was eaten more for the sick entertainment of the frog. We were kinda grossed out by the whole thing, but the frog loved it.
