megadeth...these guys are legendary, one of my favourite line ups too of Dave Mustaine (guitar/vocals), Chris Poland (guitar), Dave Ellefson (bass, backing vocals) and Gar Samuelson (drums). Peace Sells is a classical instrumentation in the trash metal genre. R.I.P Gar Saumelson!

It's tough to top this lineup. Friedman was great, Broderick is good too. But none are Chris Poland. He was fucking sick. They never had a better guitarist than him and they never had a better drummer than Gar Samuelson. They came awfully close to matching this lineup though. Megadeth still kick ass!

@zzzhuh Chris Poland had something different and more complex about his style. He was brought up playing jazz fusion and he added a new element to metal playing. Broderick has trouble mimicking Poland's solos. It's hard to copy another person's style of play, but he's supposed to be untouchable according to some. He's great, no doubt. But Poland is better.
