You're quite welcome....but Nope......I'm not from Detroit. I discovered the Diablos/Velvet Angels in the early 60's when I was living in the metro NYC area. Eventually I met, and became friends with Jay Johnson, bass from both groups. I've even performed with him for shows on a few occasions, doing both Diablos & Velvet Angels' material.
