Yeah I'm not a very big fan of expertvillage. It seems they either get it very right (the how to play funk piano with jonathon wilson are v.good), or very...wrong. I think it just depends on who the 'expert' is...

YouTube has MANY great videos of gospel organists playing the B-3. Just type in "gospel organ" "twinkie clark", "cogic hammond", etc. and be prepared to be blown away...

you need soul to play my keyboard... modern hammond emulators are ok but this isn't modern and it isn't trying to emulate a dang thing, it has 2 organ voices "pipe organ" and "E organ"

no drawbars, no percussion... people are giving away hammond m111's, i should really get one of those.

well, I have soul, but some people they feel nothing when they play music, the majority of this world think of music as music, and when they hear someone says MUSIC IS MY LIFE! (Music is my life actually), then they probably laugh, and say that you might have a hard future, I'm willing to take that chance! I mean when I play the guitar or piano, I feel the music! Most people don't... I think, I don't know, that my feeling isn't as strong as the people who I see playing, but still it feels good.

Great video, I'v never owned B-3 or ever had opportunity to play one, but I've always said just as was stated towards the end of this lesson, " A good Hammond will practically play itself".
