ترجمہ۔ یعنی میں کہتا ہوں کہ اس کے ساتھ آنحضرت ﷺ کا فرمانا کہ اگر میرا بیٹا ابراہیم زندہ رہتا تو نبی ہوجاتااور اگر اسی طرح اگر عمرؓ نبی ہو جاتا تو یہ دونوں آنحضرت ﷺ کے متبعین میں سے ہوتے پس یہ ارشاد ’’خاتم النبیین‘‘ کے مخالف نہیں کیونکہ خاتم النبیین کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ آنحضرت ﷺ کے بعد کوئی ایسا نبی نہیں آسکتا جو آنحضرت ﷺ کی شریعت کو منسوخ کرے اور آپ کی امت سے نہ ہو

حضرت محی الدین ابن عربی فرماتے ہں

ترجمہ:۔وہ نبوت جو آنحضرت ﷺ کے وجود پر ختم ہوئی وہ صرف تشریعی نبوت ہے پس آنحضرتؐ کی شریعت کو منسوخ کرنے والی کوئی شریعت نہیں آسکتی اور نہ اس میں کوئی حکم بڑھا سکتی ہے اور یہ معنی ہیں آنحضرت ﷺکے اس قول کے کہ رسالت اور نبوت منقطع ہو گئی اور میرے بعد کوئی رسول یا نبی نہیں آئے گا

 ترجمہ:۔از(احمد رضا خان بریلوی ):اے آدم کی اولاد اگر تمہارے پاس تم میں سے رسول آئیں میری آیتیں پڑھتے تو جو پرہیزگاری کرے اور سنورے تو اس پر نہ کچھ خوف اور نہ کچھ غم

بانی دیو بند مولانا محمد قاسم نانوتوی نے بھی خاتم النبیین کے اسی معنی کو درست قرار دیتے ہوئے تحریر فرمایا:۔

چنانچہ نامور صوفی حضرت ابو عبداللہ محمد بن علی حسین الحکیم الترمذی (متوفی۳۰۸ھ)کے نزدیک خاتم النبیین کے معنی محض آخری کرنے سے آنحضرت ﷺکی کوئی شان ظاہر نہیں ہوتی آپ لکھتے ہیں

ترجمہ :۔ یہ جو گمان کیا جاتا ہے کہ خاتم النبیین کی تاویل یہ ہے کہ آپ مبعوث ہونے کے اعتبار سے آخری نبی ہیں بھلا اس میں آپ کی کیا فضیلت وشان ہے؟ اور اس میں کونسی علمی بات ہے ؟یہ تاویل تو کم علم اور کم فہم لوگوں کی ہے ۔

عن انس بن مالک ؓ اَنَّ نبی اللّٰہ ﷺ اراد ان یکتُبَ الٰی رھط ٍ او اُناس ٍ من اعاجم فقیل لہُ: انھم لا یَقبَلوُنَ کتٰبًا الا علیہ خاتَم، فاتخذَ نبیُ ﷺ خاتمًا مِن فضة نقشہُ محمد رسول اللّٰہ۔۔۔۔( بخاری، کتاب اللباس) انس بن مالکؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے عجم کے کچھ لوگوں (حکمرانوں) کو خط لکھنا چاہا تو آپ سے کہا گیا کہ وہ لوگ کوئی خط اس وقت تک قبول نہیں کرتے جب تک اس پر مہر نہ لگی ہو۔ چنانچہ آنحضور ﷺ نے چاندی کی ایک مہر بنوائی جس پر یہ نقش تھا۔” محمد رسول اللہ
