Ich habe vor ein paar Minuten unter Jessy Normans-Erldkönig live Auschnitt auf yotube gesehen, ich bin sehr beindruckt von ihr. Ihr Deutsch ist perfekt! ich sage gar nichts über die ihre Stimme und Darstellungskunst! ich hätte nicht für möglich gehalten!

Außerdem spielen in der Oper andere Faktoren eine Rolle, wie die theatralische Dramatik, das Schauspiel. Naja, was ich sagen wollte ist, dass Lied und Oper nicht dasselbe sind! Wenn du dich viel damit beschäftigst, kann es gut sein, dass du deinen "Hass" überwindest und anfängst diese Musik wirklich zu genießen. Es braucht wirklich nur eine Oper, und dann bist du fasziniert von dieser musik. (Ich würde dir raten, gehe doch in eine Vorstellung von "Carmen" oder "Die Zauberflöte)!

Die Oper und das Lied sind was unterscheidliches. Das Lied hat viel mehr "Feinheiten" die man interpretieren muss. Das eigentliche Schwerpunkt des Liedes ist die Sprache, oder besser gesagt, wie sei mit der Musik in Verbindung gebracht wird, und wie die Klavierstimme die Bedeutung (bzw. die Interpretation des Komponisten) des Textes widerspiegelt. In der Oper gibt es zwar auch Feinheiten, aber man nimmt es nicht so genau, weil man über ein Orchester singen muss und nicht mit einem Klavier.

Liszt "transcribed" this piece by Schubert for piano solo. The singer is the narrator of the story so it doesn't matter whether it's a woman or man singing, just that it's sung well, and, of course, Jesse Norman does a wonerful job!

it's just logic, the earlking, father, and son, are all men. A girl could do the kids voice but other than that it's just weird.
