Lea Salonga has an amazing voice. But I can't help but cringe sometimes when she sings. She is so technically good and she puts so much emotion into the song, but she forgets to make it sound pretty. I've heard her sound amazing before, but in this song, she just doesn't really sound pleasant.

I know that this song is supposed to convey agony and such, but it should still be pleasant to listen to.

She is incredibly talented though.

I'm not going to lie. Glee brought me to Les Misrable, just because of "I Dreamed a Dream." Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those who perfer Glee version of songs. I perfer the origional versions of the songs more than the Glee versions. There is nothing better than live voices.
