Thank you for answering my question, I was worried that you thought I was being rude or sarcastic but I really did want to know and I understand now. Beautiful way of life!!! Peace & love
@ahsandworms Thank you:-)...Since the earliest of ancient African civilizations the Gele (Headwrap) has symbolized reverence and humility before God, with our head or Crown Chakra representing our direct connection to the Most High. When I wear my Gele, I am reminded that we are royalty because God created us in His/Her Image.
Thank you for such an informative, creative, professional just awesome video. I have worn my Locs for 19 yrs and when they first began to grow I would wear a headwrap everyday. This allowed my Locs to grow on its own, I would not twist them. I need to get back to my headwrap!
This is by far the best headwrap tutorial I've ever seen on You tube! U feel the same way I do about our crown of glory and how regal wrapping it makes us beautiful African Queens and Empresses. I feel so majestic when I have my headwrap on and VERY naked and vulnerable when I don't. It's so sad that other women I know or meet from Africa (I'm from there too) living here in America always encourage me to where my hair out and take that "dang on scarf off"! This is our culture and I'm not ashamed
@MyRootsRoc Thanks so much...You are SO right. I had a wonderful fun-filled headrapping workshop at my boutique yesterday...I think you would've really appreciated the energy. Be blessed and keep on wrapping! One.
Sista Girl I love this.......Thank you for the lesson....I wear them occasionally and did wonder how to work with the fabric comfortably...let your beauty sing...girl you are singing!
Girl I always wondered how you did that. Thanks for the lesson. Danielle and I watched together, she wants me to wrap my head. Go on Madame "P" wrap your head, wrap your head. I got this.
@paulettebmarks3 Hey Paulette! It was so wonderful seeing you at the headwrapping workshop yesterday mama! I hope you enjoyed yourself! Hope to see you in a wrap one of these days!

So you wear this to show your humility to god? What exactly do you mean by that? Very relaxing voice you have! Thank you
