Please explain to me the disregard for women in Islam? Why are there many rapes by muslims of women that do not follow and also some that follow islam. Why is it that if a woman gets raped by muslims she is treated as if she committed a crime and as filth when it is the men that could not show restraint and respect for life? I can't help to feel that when it comes down to it, all muslims will take arms to eradicate any faith that opposes or does not find itself in agreement.

@yanasitta I completely agree with the people who call themselves muslims, rape women, and then say that it is she who is disgusting and should be punished. This is wrong in everyway. REAL islam actually gives women rights and protects them. What LABLED muslims do is take advantage and twist things resulting in removing every right a woman has so that it works out for them. Saudi can be an example. Islam isnt like that but LABLED muslims are.

You really think these rules treat women fairly? And these obsene punishments against women are 1) probably more in number than reach the ears of the press and/or 2) are prevented in many cases by secular law instead. So things are probably even worse than they seem.

Who ever says something that conflicts with what is written in the quran is false in islamic matters. It isn't ''My opinion''. It is written in the quran, and The Holy quran is what Islam's ``rules`` comes from. Twisting and turning them is what people do to gain power.
