NBA V3 was great. I actually thought V3 wasn't realistic enough. Just because it's a street game doesn't mean people should be jumping over the backboard. It's not NBA jam.

Then I played this game. I thought the art style was great and it had a look that reminded me of summers at the blacktop in NYC. Then I got to the gameplay...

When Iverson is goaltending (or in this game, blocking) every jumpshot you take and players are doing swan dives off the rim into dunks.. They just fucked up.

2K should fix the player faces to where it looks like this. These faces look so realistic. It took until 2k12 for them to add hair to Mike Bibby. The Bibby from Street Homecourt looks identical to the real Mike Bibby. I know that nobody cares about Bibby anymore but I do and I think they should fix all of the player faces from 2k11 w/ the exception of some.

@spidermonkeysoup I agree with you 100% What's the point of having a masterskill-shooter on your team when a defender can just wait under the basket to swat the shot away ON ITS WAY DOWN? There's also a bit too much shoving in the game. Vol 2 and Vol 1 are still way better than any NBA Street that EA has produced since then.

this game was horrible. it was like they took everything that was good about the first three games and decided to throw it away. I would have loved to see a combination on street 2 and 3. mainly the customization of 3 and the game play of 2. I did like things like the dunk contest, I just wish they had more single player game modes like 2 did

A. Bust the rims which could equal a law suit

Honestly, the first NBA Street game was better than this one. My favorite would have to be a tie between 2 and 3 but for different reasons. Seriously, it was like EA took everything that was good about the series and got rid of it. The entire game was nothing but a Jordan advertisement. Also, I would rather play a game that is fun than a game that is realistic.

I played V3 at my church and i stayed up and couldnt stop, it was too fun and amazing graphics, but this isnt fun, no old stars like the others....and tricks dont feel that cool, get any of the previous ones, and maybe this if you like graphics and unrealism

Please tell me that they toned down the goaltending even a little! In v3 once both players had mastered goaltending, all outside shooting became obsolete. I think the game of basketball, no matter how wild and crazy, ought to have *some* outside shooting.
