  • Very good info! I have gone this many time and for sure this is te best way! Thanks very good great job!

  • when you dip the drosera in water, does it have to be distilled, or can it be tap or bottled?

  • I don't know if CP's are susceptible to viruses, but one should never share the water between two plants. If one was infected so will the other plant. I always sterilize between plants!

  • Plant viruses don't affect carnivorous plants the same way. In the 10+ years growing thousands of carnivorous plants at the nursery, I've never seen this to be an issue.

  • That's true. Viruses don't spread between plants as readily as they do between humans.

  • whats peat moss?

  • Peat moss is basically degraded sphagnum moss, which is a beautiful green carpet moss that grows in bogs and open fields. Below the soil level, the moss forms peat moss.

  • Thank you very much!

  • thx

  • Very informtative. Should work well on Elmer, my adelae. Might try that technique on my flytrap, Chomper, as well.

  • CPs rule!

  • Excellent tips! Adelae as you noted IS really easy to grow and a prolific baby plant maker! I love them!
