  • Shut the fuck up about Metallica, it's a great band! Fucking stop this thing you idiots.

  • @HigherOXYD lets us enjoy the greatness of Metallica while the haters waste their life typing bullshit!

  • why does every f'ing youtube video turn in to why a bunch of shit eaters hate metallica? just listen to the fucking music and shut the fucking hell up about your little tiny penis.... ERRRRRRRRR your metallica envy. Im not even a big metallica guy but holy shit you fags get old

  • Metallica forever.

  • Ozzy is king, you can sit here and say the cover of this sucks or other bands suck but in the end they are still on top of the food chain in the world of rock so suck it up and learn to appriciate the fact that these people can sing, drum, and shred guitar with more musical talent in the sticks, mic, and pick than most of these wanna be clowns that use the same four cords in every pop song written since the 70s. Eat it beiber.

  • ozzy was king

  • @GreenQualityS WAS?

  • @GreenQualityS What? He is a king and always will be!

  • @GreenQualityS troll

  • metallicas versioin is barely better

  • I have always found this song to be sexy and how I'd want my man to sing about me. To a handsome Coal Min.

  • 2 people like just beiber listen to good music fags

  • I love Metallica's version of this, but this is still better :D

  • bro stop fighting about whos the better metal bands! :L just love metal and not stupid ass pop and its all good :)

  • Damn! - ROCK used to be SO good.............

  • 1973...man! :)

  • black sabbath will be around forever for kids like me who don't fit in anywhere and need something no one else will get or be into until they hear it

  • How many Metallica's songs have covered Black Sabbath;D

  • @jgzzsrhoads now i wanna see the possibly reunited black sabbath cover seek and destroy

  • @MrLespaul166 ha! you wish;) Black Sabbath never gonna cover Metallica, im a fan of both, but Sabbath it's Sabbath

  • whats sad is when Metallica does covers, it just takes the lyrics and throws everything else away, guitars, bass, drums, talent... etc etc hahaha

  • Is this Ozzie's love song to Sharon?

  • Metallica - what is Metallica?

  • Metallica is not in the same league with Sabbath.

  • @MrLynskynyrd yeah metallica is way higher than BS

  • @MrLynskynyrd In fact, they suck. I mean, they have Black Sabbath as a major influence and they got it wrong. Black Sabbath is music while Metallica brought the noise. Take Soundgarden for example. They did it right, while being experimental.

  • @MrLynskynyrd my msg to metallicrap is "don not even go there!".

  • @MrLynskynyrd damn straight

  • what if iommi had all his own fingers, he would be even 10 times better than this!

  • @jamirosmajicrocks he actually created his style "because" he lost his fingertips. No accident, and maybe Tony was NOT this good.

  • @jamirosmajicrocks consider this, Tony Iommi started downtuning his guitar so that the strings would be lighter on his wooden fightertips, and the accident only took the tips, so he was just as dexterous, if he hadn't lost his fingers black sabbath would have sounded a lot different

  • @Edgehead1132 do you know if iommi actually plays with his artificial fingertips?

  • @jamirosmajicrocks pretty sure he does, saw a picture once where i'm pretty sure he was wearing them. not sure if he's done something else now or has found a better alternative to wood, but pretty sure he wears his fingertips when he plays

  • black sabbath is awesome but i like metallica's version better

  • the song... very very very good...

  • Awsome!!! And only Metallica has paid Tribute to this amazing Song and Album the forgotten Band .....They started Everything ....2right....GODS!!!

  • it reminds me to the riff of "no quarter" by led zeppelin

  • Why does YouTube says that this vid is during 0:00 ?

  • @mqchoco Magic Sabbath.

  • @TheLegendaryALEXY

I am sure Black Sabbath is the creator of metal, I never heard another band play metal like these guys.

  • I remember buying the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album when it first came out back in January 1974 when I was 13 years old. It was all ri-i-i-ighttt!!

  • I remember buying the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album when it first came out back in January 1974 when I was 14 years old. It was all ri-i-i-ighttt!!

  • I don't wanna leave you, and I'm never gonna leave you N E Moooore.

  • metallica did a fantastic cover of this

    but

the originals the better by far

thankyou sabbath for creating the greatest genre of music in all of human history

  • metallica plays this so much better

  • @RandomVids7887 I dare you to say that right to my face or any Sabbath fan. I dare you.

  • @RandomVids7887 Die Heretic !!

  • Black Sabbath created metal but Metallica perfected it ;)

  • @rayiskon metallica and there mainstream metal can suck big fat cocks

  • @CrazyEiche Those assholes have butchered every song they covered..even that Grateful Dead song Whiskey in the jar. Someone should restrict them to covering disco songs. BECAUSE THEY SUCK BALLZ.

  • @oregonmetalgoddess13 Sorry but ehh Whiskey' was sang by Thin Lizzy.. so get your facts straight before you slag 'Tallica.

  • @APEllison Thin Lizzy's version was amazing - then Metallica played it and ruined it.

  • @APEllison

Actually, before Thin Lizzy there was The Dubliners.

Whiskey... was an Irish folk song created from a myth/legend.

  • @Hellwyck oh I know, but Thin Lizzy made it more famous. And Metallica's cover of it was based on Lizzy's version

  • @rayiskon sabbath make it heavy, priest metal and metallica thrash

  • dis song proves ozzy could sing

  • ozzy could of been a pop star if he wanted 2

  • dis song proves ozzy could sing

  • It's sad that the Metallica cover versions have sooooo many more hits than any of the Sabbath videos. And that people actually PREFER the Metallica one!

  • @LaphroaigPhan those guys .. they dont even know that those songs are sabbath's songs!

  • @BillWard1990

Metallica fans don't know who Sabbath are?

Just.... Just stop thinking, it's not working for you.

  • Prefer sabs with dio, but this is good

  • This song has one of ozzys best vocal performances EVER!! :D and when metallica does the cover of the song the same goes out to james :D Awesome song :D

  • the best fucking love song in the WORLD!!!!

  • SABBATH FOR LIFES A NEVER ENDING WHEEL

  • I prefer Metallica's version.. although that's probably just because that's the version I heard first

  • @Jaytso666 metallica are gods plus their sabbra has another song it also

  • @Jaytso666 Metallica surely prefer the original version though.

  • best song of ozzy!

  • Rick Wakeman plays the keyboards in this song....

  • @shotguy1 - i did not know that- freaking fucking awesome- love this song!!!!!!

  • @shotguy1 really? never heard about that...I knew Tony plays all the keys in Sabs, in the early years

  • @shotguy1 yes, he was at the studio sabbath was working at and ozzy showed him the riff, and Rick said, "how about this?". Rick is also pretty sick on Bowie's Hunky Dory album. This song rocks!

  • SINCE SO HAPPY SINCE I MET THAT GIRL....................THESE GIRL IS MY GIRLFRIEND, HAHAHA

  • @shotguy1 No, i'm sure it's Rick Wakeman

  • Shotguy1 Ha Ha Ha seriously fucking funny ha ha ha

  • Those opening licks/riffs, and the little solo there that goes along with them are some of the coolest I've ever heard.

    Viva Sabbath !

  • all hail the riff king

  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dont forget Sabotage. That was a heavy sound too.

  • This song makes me feel I am so lucky to be alive and be able to shake my fucking head!!!

    God save the Sabbath!!!

  • gotta love the intro

    Black Sabbath for life!

  • Metallicas is better but something makes this god like.. maybe because black sabbath are gods?

  • Metallica's version sucks ASS!

  • You cannot compare these bands. They're completely different. Gods, though - absolutely.

  • both songs r good the cover from metallica n the original song XD

  • black sabbath, love it all,or leave it the hell alone!!!

  • this is where it started going to shit

    sharon = teh doom

  • Sounds like a roller coaster to hell.

  • high school trance winter st. louis mo,ice, twat, pot

  • jpréfèr celle de metallica

  • Brilliant !

  • This band is the only one that changed their sound in every album and they were always winners! I mean 1st too raw 2nd still heavy but not that raw 3rd almost doom 4th more experimental and this one is progressive meetal actually.. GODS

  • Bang on.....well put and true!

  • @BillWard1990

    1970-1978 = Tasty as Hell

best years for Sabbath! Dio Sabbath is great, but BLACK Sabbath is 70-79

  • @BillWard1990

Their best in my opinion. And I was there, a 17 year old dude.

  • thank's

  • KICKS ASS!!

  • to śpiewa Ozzy Osbourne czy Dio????

  • Eu num intindi o qui ele falô

  • you know. this is sad. the music doesn't deserve these arguments.

  • u fuckin idiot...

  • Wow, that's a really compelling argument. I hadn't thought of it that way. I really wish i had the mental capacity that you have.

    u fuckin idiot...

  • The thing with music is that it`s entirely subjective, you like what you like, simple as that, it just means that, in your opinion Metallica`s version is better. I prefer this version. Both of us are correct.

  • I agree. but you have these pinheads like shotguy1 that speak without even thinking... or without even considering the other side of the arguement. people who do that are what's wrong with the world.

  • That is so true. I wish people would think like that more. If we could all get along everything would be better.

  • yeah...I've listened to this and the SBS album many times ...Black Sabbath were always changing their tone and by late 73' were dealing with Iommi pursuing a less heavy tone while Osbournes vocals were irratatingly high and no longer like "the third instrument", the drums were clean but had a less powerful tone and those thick and crunchy stunning bass parts was replaced by good bass lines with an average tone.

...seems the sound suffered as they became more known.

  • Nailed it.

  • SBS is their best album with Ozzy. Also their Most distinctive sounding album, get your head outta your ass and stop trying to sound like you even know WTF you're talking about.

  • Wow, clever way to avoid the subject. You still don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Regardless of whatever you think you may have done to my mother. You just got hurt feelings cause you don't know shit, and like to pretend as if you do, just to spare your self esteem from dropping lower than it is already. Have a nice day...

  • Bitch, you can't even spell diarrhea correctly. Try again.

  • MightySaturn5, you child brain, I see you still sucking ass, maybe someone should rip your balls off

  • you're ridicolous, I won't waste my time with you

  • I lol'd...5 out of 5

  • that is the most incredible thing ive seen on youtube. congratulations, ur lifes going nowhere with that brain you sick fuck.

  • Thanks Kev, you're a great guy and observant.

Due to the afore mentioned I figured I'd share the latest bit of gossip I've aquired -they say they've made a huge breakthrough in basic English and are now using the term "you're" instead of the older "ur".

...you're welcome and have a great day.

  • glad u took ur time to share that with me einstein.

  • @MightySaturn5

    Hey, that story was cool.

  • @MightySaturn5 Wow not only are you fucking retarded but you can't even come up with new jokes you have to repeat the same exact comment to two different people... Copy and paste magic huh.... Pathetic.

  • Comment removed

  • @MightySaturn5 Uhhhh..... What the fuck?

  • yes?

  • n Ozzy's voice was unbeatable on that albim

  • @MightySaturn5 This is album is great because its progressive metal. It's a another reason why Sabbath was such a great band because they didn't stick to their usual formula for success and tried new things and did it amazingly.

  • Thats true WERE, I agree.

...It seems (to me) that Vol 4 was their last heavy album however so many people feel the same about SBS, Sabotage,TE and NSD.

  • Love that piano

  • One of the greatest songs i've ever heard in my whole life. Thank you Black Sabbath.

  • Metallica would never have been if it was for Sabbath. If it wasn't for Sabbath their wouldn't be metal.

  • From which album is this song? Please for help !

  • man i love this song sabbath are the kings of metal, sabbath bloody sabbath was also a really good song off of this album

  • Sabbath arent the kings of metal!! their the freakin creators

  • @ROCKER23232323 I think every band in heavy metal is influenced by them in one way or another

  • @ROCKER23232323 Id give alot of credit to chuck berry too yo! he is the father of the modern styles of picking in rhythmic galloping. But one thing is for damn sure... BLACK SABBATH IS THE VERY FIRST RECORDED AND PRODUCED DOOM BAND.... HAND OF DOOM IS THE EARLIEST SONG OF THAT DARK HEAVY NATURE... Listen to the album master of reality... clearly doesnt worship the devil... Its about tabloids.."You think your world was made from someone above" "Youve made master of the world were you exist"

  • @Grindednigg "Master of Reality" is the first doom metal and stoner metal album ever written and recorded... Although Black Sabbath is considered doom/stoner/heavy on their first 4 or 5 albums, "Master of Reality" is the fucking first true stoner/doom material !

  • Whoever played the piano in this is awesome.

  • Rick Wakeman of Yes fame.

  • I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure it was Geezer

  • @randomcollision6 Rick Wakeman from Yes.
