I think Erasure took vocal samples from a "B" SciFi movie called "Dark Star", the whole "...attention, ships computer to bridge..." section was from the movie.

@frostjona No, the samples came from the 1969 Dino De Laurentis film 'Barbarella' starring Jane Fonda. Fantastic film. The opening was borrowed by Kylie for her 'Put Yourself In My Place' video.
