i got fixed on top and removable on the bottom and my fixed braces hardly hurt now but my removable brace is so painful!!!

i just got braces, 1 is removable and it makes my speech really bad. can anyone tell me roughly how long it takes for your speech to improve?

I have these, but i produce SO much saliva i have to carry around a towel. But they want me to wear it all day...what do I do please tell me

I have had them they didn't hurt me really and I only had them 4 6 months now I have the train track braces with power chains on and they really hurt

One of the little retaining wires is really hurting my cheek when I smile, not sure whether to call and get it adjusted or whether I'll get used to it :/

Them twin blocks are soooooo weird! i had mine foe about a month, and im still getting ulcers :( has anyone else had headgear to go with it like me?? :S

my dentist said wear it 23 hours a day and even at school, and when i wear it i Drule everywhere and i can't talk so how do i wear this at school? is it really necessary wearing it 24 hours a day ?? PLEASE ANSWER!!

my dentist never gave me a little box for this and never even told me to brush my appliance...also i have this but a tiny bit different, just got it yesterday and it makes me Drule SO MUCH :(((

how am i meant to wear it to school if i can't speak and i drule?

i had mine for 5 months. they do ache for a couple days and your speech is weird but you get used to it and they stop hurting. When you get them tightened they also ache.

i had some today. i sound like an idiot! they dont hurt when you first get them, i turn mine every week and eat with them out. when the dentist first puts them in for you, it feels like someone flicking all of your teeth the brace will go around. its kinda hard for me to swallow and chew :( theyre not that bad tbh :)

Have them hate them my dentist chewed the head off me when she found out i was taking them out to eat i hate my dentist >:(

@xExTReMEUMeSHx ohhh yeah! for the first few weeks! nearly had it a year though, your dentist will reduce the wear over time, i've only to wear mine at nighttime now x

@crazynoob3 yeaa, iv had mine since the start of june, and theyre fine noww, theyve broke a few times though :L xx they ached for about 3 or 4 days i think :( xx iv gotta have my wires changed soon :S thats porbs gonna make them ache agen :( xx
