  • How do you figure out what time zone you are in?

  • @LoLofoShowShow Look on the box.

  • @Dell0304 I used the + and - buttons to adjust the time. Just hold the Clock button till it beeps and you can readjust the date/time. Thanks for the vid though.

  • @roxcerise I figured that out!

  • @Dell0304 yeah well you said you have no idea what it's for in your video so i figured i could put it here in case anyone wants to know.

  • @roxcerise No problem!

  • i have one just like this its white though

  • wow what a waste of my time

  • @way2fasts You know, you were the one to click on this video. I didn't force you. So you wasted your own time.

  • Can you remove the lithium battery, to replace it?

  • i used to have one.. i threw it way because it was shit

  • @MrBurnTec - That sounds like a bit of trolling, to be honest..

  • @AdamBoy64 no just telling the truth so no one has to buy it and waste there money

  • Could You measure power consumption ?

  • @PeterMacPL How about look on the box?

  • @Dell0304 - no there is no this info :) you have to meausure itself with power energy monitor, I have older ICF-C115 and turn it off because yousing about 15W, little to much, I'm loking for something which will be use half of that.

  • @PeterMacPL Honestly who cares?

  • @Dell0304 How long battery can keep time ? when you unpug it from socket display is off ? my ICF-C115 and ICF-C212 using 9V battery and they die very fast.

  • @PeterMacPL I don't know. The power went off one time and it was fine when it came back on.

  • @Dell0304 - many peoples, this Sony use ~16-17W

  • had my for 2years got my september 2009

  • got same alarm clock but my is falling apart

  • Thank you for posting your video, it helped me out a lot in understanding how to set it up and use. Nice clock, I had no idea it had such nifty features (lithium battery, auto time set thanks to the time zones, etc.).

  • @Mid12nt You're welcome! glad it helped!

  • is it works without ac plug socket??

  • @ecju No, the battery inside is just for backing up.

  • @Dell0304 i wonder how long can battery back up ??

i bought brand new ICF-C218 but when i unplug ac power, it stops on time :(((

  • @ecju It's a lithium battery, should last you the life of the clock. Accuracy? Maybe 100% accurate for the first 30 mins.

  • the + and - are for when you set the clock. you have to hold down the little tiny clock button and then click 4 times to get to the time bit and then you use the + and - buttons and once you have down that click the clock buttona gain ;)

  • i have this clock and i have it in silver, thanks for telling me what all those numbers are, like when you said july 19th 2011, cause i was confused about that, cheers anyway.

  • @Dell0304 Got it now. Thanks!

  • Can you make more videos please

  • @jd60708mm Not at the moment. I'm going on vacation, starting today, and won't be back for over a week. I'll only have 1 or 2 oppurtunities to have internet up there.

  • Can make more videos please

  • If you see my May 2011 Room Setup, I have a Sony DreamMachine ICF-(something....) and it has a iPod dock built in! I might make a review of it!

  • @IBMThinkPadR51 Cool!

  • How did you enable the captions on your video?

  • @Compaq0304 I have captions? Cool.

  • @Dell0304 It is cool!

  • my aunt has the exact same one yet shes in another country , and continent!!

  • Nail clippers. Nail clippers! Nail clippers? Nah, I'm just kidding with you. ("Nail clippers", he said.) :-)

That is a *great* clock radio. It's nice to see a few modern ones that are well made with decent features. I really like the fact that it has a date function.

  • @uxwbill uxwbill? You commented on my video? awesum...

Anyway, yeah, I desperately needed a new clock to replace mine with a broken case, and this one is very very nice. And it was a very affordable $12!

  • @Dell0304 I'm just an average guy on Youtube, nothing more and nothing less, making videos about the stuff I like and my adventures with the rest of my family. I've watched some of your videos, and I quietly watch those of many others who have been kind enough to subscribe to me. Likewise, if someone asks me to watch their video and offer my input, I will do so if I can help out.

  • I have a dream machine too! I love it.

  • My mate has one just like this at his house, well, he did until he replaced it with some random 50W iPod speaker.

  • @ThePhoneUpdate Really? This is a really nice clock...

  • @Dell0304 Yep, I myself insist on having DAB as the local stations are all crap, but FM is your thing 'ya can't beat a dream machine!

  • @ThePhoneUpdate haha, I don't listen to the radio that often but yeah, it sounds good! I have my computers and iPod for my music needs.

  • @Dell0304 Yeah I've seen your iPod touches, I have one but use it only just for music, I prefer my Android phone better for games etc.
