Oh dear, now you've gone and made me cry. I had one of those back in '76 and in England we had a noteably beautiful summer in that year. I rode my CB750 K2 (blue tank and panels) across England on many holidays and I have many happy memories of that bike. Gone, but not forgotten :(
Your photo gallery is excellent. I'm going to use it while working on my CB750 project. Actually I have the exact same model as you do (the Honda CB750 '76 K6), and I'd like to ask you if you had any problems with the front breaks while restoring? I currently have problems with the pads not 'staying still'. It seems that the piston is pushing the inner pad crooked and thus locking the brake disk and wheel. Any suggestions?
The restoration is OK but OH.......that black engine.Whatever were you thinking????Take it out, strip that horrible color & put it back to original, then take a look at what you created. Can't tell me it's not 100% better than how it used to look.
That is one hell of a beautiful restoration, the bike looks perfect... I owned a 1971 K1 a few years ago and miss it a lot...thanks for sharing with us (I'm off to watch your other vid now!)
Thanks. This is my 3rd one over the years... I had a new 1974 back then, and another '74 in 1989, but this one is really clean and runs fantastic. Thank you for the comments! Enjoy the videos!
Very nice!! I have the same bike. Mine has new paint but lacks the tank decals. My stock exhaust rotted off about 15 years ago and I replaced it with a Kerker 4 into 1.......Mine is nice but yours is WOW !!!!!!
