How to give ACCF more replay ability: Go into a hacked town, or hack it yourself, and you can literally see a town made from scratch. You can also do a bunch of games against your friends that you can make up yourself.

Also, the game is $20 new now. Wild World isn't even that cheap.

Every game that has made a ton of money has been a remake. Just look at the call of duty series. Same game, similar controls, different maps. However I wish Animal crossing could be for other systems. The Wii may be a good system, but unfortunately I don't own one.

I agree. I have the game on all the systems. The only real difference is the graphics and in the ds and wii version theres a sling shot and you can have visitors. Still really fun

This is ridiculous. I loved AC on the GC but if this was on Xbox, even simple things like when someone arrives in your town, the game shouldn't stop everything to save and watch them walk in. Thye shoukd just arrive and a little icon says they've arrived. But Nintendo are so behind times it's a joke and only people unaware of technological advances think it's not a complete con.

the only version i've played before this is the ds version. Therefore, the new addition to events and special items you could collect during these real holiday events is nice. It's worth the buy. However for those who have enjoy these in previous release then there isn't much.

I can easily play this game for 2 hours, and there are many goals to achieve. Fishing happens to be one of my favorite aspects of the game. One season to review Animal Crossing: City Folk is HARDLY enough time to fully experience the pure awesome of this game.

If you make it sound boring, it's boring. If you make it sound fun, it's fun. That's just animal crossing for you. And if you don't play it enough, you won't realize that it isn't just a boring remake. I play this game for 1 - 2 hours each day. There are MANY goals that can be achieved. And frankly, I find this game more fun if you just stay away from the city. (Except to get a new haircut)

City Folk was basically a port of the DS version, but those two versions are quite different from the GameCube one. Plus, you can't complain about the fact that it's a remake of the N64 title, because it was never released in the US.
