Women commit at least half of domestic violence. They initiate more than half. Even feminist researchers have found as much. Google or YouTube Warren Farrell to find out more. (Farrell was previously a board member for the National Organization for Women).

@MegaTouchy, it's interesting you put it that way, but you do have a point. If domestic violence is bad and one group commits more of it than another (women in this case, including more severe violence), than we'd have to conclude that yes, they were "worse" in that regard.

@WelfareRobot I see your point, but there've been numerous "researches" on both sides of which gender creates more domestic violence. And I think the video used a male abuser instead, since according to some Department of Justice Study, males tend to inflict more damage. Basically just to emphasize the seriousness of domestic violence.

@WelfareRobot It may be the situation in USA or other first-world countries where women and men enjoy an equal footing, but such is not the case in India (where this vid is from) - women are still relegated to an inhuman position - men somehow believe they can get away with freaking anything. While this was the case several centuries ago and should have been rectified by now, India is stuck in a time warp (and probably so are other third-world countries...)

@EmperorofCartoons They weren't threatening violence. The kids were saying that their ball had gone into the abuser's back yard, just to distract him long enough to stop the violence.

Well actually they all went up to the room and did ask for a ball, but noticing their face reaction is also part of conflict, the faces they all had sent warning to the guy on door. What would you feel if you just had a fight or argument and a mob of people were staring at you in front of you?... most will feel uncomfortable and just feel like they were threatening by them. I certainly would.
