Classic Talking Heads, really quirky but I keep coming back to it. Just been looking at lecky guitars on web - thats what made me think of this old but good song!
'Fear of Music' has staying power that other Talking Heads records lack. I say this as a fan (with approx. 7 of their LPs, plus Byrne and Harrison work...and still return to this one). "Memories Can't Wait" is a personal favorite but the instrumentals, production, and patience make for unique songs, including "Electric Guitar."
Who else except ''Talking Heads'' could have come out with a song as quirky and bizarre as this? Every ''Talking Heads'' song has some kind of ''what the hell does this mean ?'' attached to it. Makes you think...feel...pause and wonder. Great stuff.
