  • I use 30 grit sandpaper for bugs

  • wait you dont clean with bleach?

  • I'm amazed at how little supposed detailing "professionals" actually know. Do NOT scrape with a razor; you will put sleeks (fine scratches) in the glass. If you have to, use a plastic putty scraper, snow/ice scraper, or the edge of a credit card. Best yet, use Detailer's clay to remove bugs/road film, or use Bon Ami powder on a wet sponge. Rinse well. Invisible Glass by Stoner Products is the best OTC glass cleaner. Dry with newspaper. Apply Rain-X if desired. Class dismissed.

  • I find distilled neat Vinegar does a brilliant job, then i wipe is of with News paper , dont ask me why it just does it better than any cloth.

  • @ecosselad Nice call on the news paper. Because of the texture of it (recycled paper and ink), it does a really good job of picking up very fine bits of particulate. Some professional knife sharpeners give the blade a final wipe with news paper for the same reason.

  • I only use SHAKLEE BASIC H for car washing. Not to mention, I use it to wash veggies, clean tiles, clean dishes, my hand, wash my dogs, wash walls, computer keyboard, shower and bath room, furniture, leather, .. I have not found anything that it can NOT clean! One bottle of 16 oz out beats 350 spray windex bottles LITERALLY.

  • you shouldn't you windex on a vehicle. it has amonia in it, amonia should not be applied to auto glass, armorall or rainex are the best window cleaners

  • wrong ammonia is only bad if ur windows are tinted and you can buy glass cleaner without ammonia

  • he said a window cleaner some companies make yellow window cleaner im going to guess since its detailing company and its west coast i think im going to have to say auto magic product but idk thats a big east coast thing

  • thats just wiping it with a cloth??

  • what product do u use?
