Dear uploader: I'm so grateful you didn't take this video down. It's such a prized peek for me into an era I never got to be a part of and will never fully be able to imagine. I think there IS something to be honored about the spirit of 90s NYC nightlife...and remembered, through footage like this....because no club or rave scene I've experienced in recent years can really imitate or compare...

I am deactivating this video because it has become a forum about Michael. It was meant to honor the good times we had. I should not have made the initial comment which I posted with this video of clippings. I'm not judging either of them. I totally understand how junkied out Michael was for a LONG time and always adored him. If he needs a friend in recovery, I am here for him.

ahhhh!!!!!! so cool! i actually did a report on the club kids last year in 6th grade! it was so fun! i teased my hair, wore, crazy socks, a neon tutu, a crazy graphic tee and platforms too. I even covered my face with rhinestones!!! so fun!

@JerryS571 cool - me too I understand how bad he was - I was doing work for him and the clubs and was right there throughout much of that time. Luckily some of us made it through and "cleaned up" I miss those days terribly, and think of them daily - as crazy as they were they were really special. Disco 2000, and some of those small clubs and parties - Desi and Walts place - what a time. Peace

It is sad that those days are gone forever. But I really don't understand the pity party that's being thrown for angel, I mean he was a drug dealer.... Drug dealers don't retire, it was only a matter of time before somebody else killed him or he ended up on prison

@JerryS571 in the same sense, you can say nobody deserves to be put behind bars. Especially for a murder that was self defense. They disposed of the body in a drug induced panick. You can't say what you would do yourself in that situation until it really happens... I don't think michael would kill anyone, or freeze. Angel had pushed michael thru a layer of glass and was choking him. Michael had shard of glass in his back and neck. Angel also bit michael and wouldnt let go until the 3rd blow

Because I have had my own legal troubles, and did LOTS of drugs, and I know better than to inject someone with lethal chemicals and smother them with a pillow, unless of course I intended to kill them. I HAVE been in those type of situations my dear. Stop doing drugs and maybe your brain will work.

What people need to understand is that movie was made by hollywood and for legal reasons they left many details out. @LifeOfTheParty323 Not sure. I believe it is sometime this year, yes. and to clarify for NYKID10014 it has been about 18 years that Michael has been locked up. I did my share of partying as well, and there were many nights that I could have hit someone with my car driving fucked up, or someone even could have ODd from something I gave them.

The best nights of my life! That was definitely the last days of clubbing. The kids today have NO idea!

Why should M.A. get out? I don't understand this this fucking state. Murder and what, 12 years? Rot in jail for life or death penalty would be appropriate. Don't blame drugs. I did plenty and never murdered anybody.

It wasnt even michael who did it, freeze hit him 3 times before he finally let go. He was telling freeze to "stay the fuck back" He started the whole thing, he didnt deserve what happened, but what can you expect after doing that to someone? a pat on the back?

I remember those great times. Micheal was semi decent until he took one of my best friends lives. I still haven't forgiven him for that. I wish we still had these parties, I dream about them like every night and wish I could go back in time. I guess that maybe in the next life, I will see Angel again and party with all of you. @TinneyTitan You are very welcome. I didn't know Angel very well myself. But I, too, wish we could go back in time and enjoy it all again. I wrote to Michael for a couple years and then stopped when I saw that he was still up to no good in prison. I hope he learns something that will change him for the better. Take care.

It was a wonderful time until the tragedy of Angels death. It is sad to think that our entire generation will be remembered for this sad occasion. There were so many people, partys, and creative energy that will not be discovered, or remembered.
