there was a time when i used to enjoy watching the WWE Women wrestling matches. Gail Kim, Victoria, Lita and Trish were some of the best WWE divas known to the pro wrestling industry. now it's unwatchable. when talking about women in pro wrestling - Gail Kim's submissions were incredible to watch. now that's unheard of. Lita's high flying risk maneuvers were amazing to watch. now that's unheard of. Wrestling has gone downhill.

@johnnythao WWE began screwing up the women's division right around this time when they began the Diva Search and fired Jacqueline. WWE decided that sex appeal was MUCH more important than being able to wrestle and, thinking that any woman could be trained to wrestle, began gutting the women's division and replacing the undesirables (Jazz, Nidia, Gail) with "divas". I think the only reason Molly Holly didn't get fired with the others was that she was expected to train the newbies.

I don't understand how people call Trish overrated but not Lita. Lita was great at the beginning of her career, she was exciting but even then her move-set did not consist of much. When she returned in 2003/2004 she wasn't the same. She was very slow in the ring (look at this match for example) and sloppy. If you look at the first few matches in her return when she teamed with Trish to face Gail and Molly, Trish was a WAY better wrestler. Lita became crap at the end of her career.

Trish is overrated. She was 9 years in the WWE and 7 time women's champion. Victoria was 9 years in the WWE and only 2 time women's champion. Victoria NEVER botched her moves. Trish damn sure wasn't better wrestler than Victoria.

Trish had the WWF/E hype machine behind her the moment she set foot in the company, even when she was just T&A's manager. She was always the one Vince wanted to be "top diva".

There was hype being made before Trish even made her first appearance, whereas Lita got over (fairly quickly though) because of her in ring style. Trish basically had the looks and marketability to take over where Sable left off. But Trish definitely trained hard to reach the level she did in the ring. Gail should have won this match though.
