You can order the LEDs and install them yourself for the ROL. You have to desolder the old ones a solder on the ones. At the time I was not experienced enough to solder them myself. So I found one on ebay for $30. And the LEDs plug into the original power supply used for the fans and they split to provide another plug, I just chained them all together from the original plug.
From what i've read, no. I personally haven't tested it to see if it's true, I don't want to risk my account. Not to mention I have no idea how to burn them or modify the firmware to play burnt copies.
Yes, you can play online. All of these mods are add-ons. As long as you don't modify the software. Like if you flash the hardware or play burned copies of games, you will instantly get banned from Xbox Live.
Well call me crazy, but $175 isn't really that much money. Not to mention that I had the extra money and nothing to spend it on. I had to find something! lol
I spent a total of around 175 dollars including shipping charges for the mods. I also bought some tools and stuff, but I don't really count that as money spent on the 360 itself.
Yeah, I tried my best to show the actual color, but my stupid phone kept giving it that orangish look because of all the blue lights. I actually couldn't find a blue ghost case for the HDD so I painted it myself. I taped off all the chrome and painted it metallic blue.
Nice work! Check out my latest video of a customers 360 I modded.

did you have to solder for the ring of light?
and did you have to add another power supply for the extra fans and stuff?
