  • To that bloke yelling in the background about how someone should do something: why didn't YOU do something?

  • thats at the sweepwer at ruapuna

  • Oh and the response crews did an excellent job and couldn't have got there quicker! For the IV vehicle to be responding before the red flag was declared just shows you how switched on the crews were.

  • once again i dont have any sort of problem with the responce time . i think it was lucky for the pace car to be sitting there tho and think the guy in the flag tower that did the big run did very well to get there in the time he did . the only thing i can say bad about it was the croud controle no one thought to put a tarp up and get keep croud back for ages .cheers

  • @flamehound262 they are jsut around the corner because that corner leads onto the front straight

they are just in the off street.

  • Hey mate, Thank you for posting this video. Again, I would be very keen on seeing the rest of the extrication if you can find/piece it together. It is a shame that this crash happened on an otherwise great day of racing.

  • will have to check when i finly get my camera back from being fixd ay (some clumsy bugger droped it and doent work wright now) . will drop a copy off next time im at ruapuna to someone . cheers

  • Mate do you have any vidoes of the rest of the extraction as it would be great to see it and show the rest of the FMRDC club for more training

  • umm i cant aculy remember how much of it i got . Will have to look back over it. I know i cut the peace to put it on here . Will get back to you mate.

  • @brutaly666 - gidday - just read your comment re the F5000 crash at Lady Wigram last year. I have a small amount of high definition footage from the other side of the track just after he crashed and also as they lift him from the car, and also lifting the car onto the back of the truck. Happy to post it up if you are interested. (I've just been over from Aussie for the weekend for the Skope Classic and got some nice footage.)

  • that fire marshal couldn't have arrived there any faster! the driver of the intervention vehicle did well as I bet he went to the scene without instructions from the tower, hence the time it took for the red flag.

That guy in the background sounds like a tossa!!

  • oie mate why abuse me . Not my fault what somone else said . I dont have a problem with how long it took . What i do have a problem with is wankas abusing the camra guy . Was going 2 post more race fotage i have but dnt tink it worth it with quear cu# @s abusing me 4 my efort . Will remove this flic as people obiously hav a problem with it

  • I wasn't abusing you dude :)

  • the guy is fine he broke 2 bones in his foot other wise un hurt the car is being rebuilt and arron did a great job putting that fire out with only powders

  • thanks for that good to hear

  • yeh cant relly help what the people behind us said . It was a good response time to get the fire out. Could have been worse if the pace car hadnt been sitting in that corner . Yer its great to see (and hear) these cars out there and aculy competing for the lady wigram trophy again. I would like to know how the fella is tho

  • Car dead, driver alive. Battered and bruised but no injuries of significance. Lucky chap! He'll rebuild the car and be back next year :-)

  • sweet good to hear that

  • ha it was 17 seconds from when the car hit the wall to when a fire extinguisher was used, which is pretty good in my book, going off the back ground comnentary sounded like it had been a eternity. suck about the old car tho, its good that these cars are still raced
