  • The Gibson Girl, the Radio generator/transmitter, wouldn't it be able to power a light on the mast, it should help tring to spot a raft at night, a light can be seen at sea for a good distance.

Very Important Persom, and Father Came Too, also any other James Robertson Justice comedies and any Jack Hawkins movies also like Jack Warner movies Thank You

  • Thanks for posting this gem.

  • How the British made it through the second world war is beyond me. If this movie is anything like they are, it's a real wonder.

"Excuse me, I think I set the boat on fire".

  • " ... ¡oh, I hate the bloddy sea...!".

I think I also would hate the sea if I had been in that same desperate situation as he is.

  • @JaliscoDeOjosHazel Your very welcome.

  • One of the few British war films left on my want-very-much to-see-but-haven't-found-yet list. Thanks to you and Ric, I think the number is down to two now:-) Thanks a million!

  • @CatherineRhiannon if it had not been for Ric, my Alan Ladd collection, would have never been complete. Now with his UK channel, my Peter Finch and Laurence Harvey collections keep growing. Have a nice weekend and enjoy watching some great movies. KB

  • Another gem that I haven't had the luck of watching but, thanks to you, now I sure will. Thank you so so much. xoxoxoxo
