In my experience, washing/drying clothes can actually be harder on them than wear and tear (dryer lint is evidence of this). I'd be interested in knowing if the odor protection will continue to be effective after several wash/dry cycles.
Perhaps after you find the number of days until odor, you could wash/dry it many times (simulating a period of wear of your choosing) and then run the odor test again. That is, if your marriage can withstand a second round :)
Talk about good solid testing! Good job. I think your wife should be the judge of the odor control though. After a while we all get used to how we smell, so having another person do it should yield more accurate test results.
Whatever the are paying the salesman that sold you that shirt... It aint enough, cause he is one hell of a salesman.
