Chrona is sexually ambiguous in both the anime and manga. There is no official english pronoun to refer to a person without specifying gender like there is in japanese, but they still have to translate it somehow. It's just that they decided to use "he" in the anime and whoever translated the manga (which are fan translated and therefore unofficial) decided to use "she". Chrona's gender is unspecified. Even the original artist says so. Stop arguing.

Actually, the creator of the series decided that Crona was neither male nor female. In Japan, there are ways of referring to people so that they are gender neutral, or androgynous. However, the rest of the world isn't capable of thinking of humans as gender neutral, so a decision had to be made on how to refer to Crona in the anime - Japanese has versions of "him" and "her" that can be indicative of either sex, but English doesn't have words like that.
