One reason I hate watching these videos is the ignorant language of the uninitiated who make comments on them. Instead of just putting it down, why don't you engage your curiousity and look at the history of the game and find out why it was invented. It was for the benefit of poor kids who didn't have access to team sports. I teach this to my Middle School PE classes and they love it. It's an equalizer because you don't have to be the best to succeed and it is a coed sport too.

I played Korfball for 7 years. It was a lot of fun and when i see this video, i wanna play it again. But it's true, that many things changed in the last few years. But all these changes makes this sport even more attractive. Sadly this Sport is very unknown. In my city where I live, Korfball is very popular and almost the half players of the german nationalteam comes out of it. But in neighbourcities, they hadn't even heard the word Korfball once...

@ ciphercirle: No, it's a different sport than basketball. We are not allowed to dribble with the ball and the technique is way different of basketball. By Korfbal you also have 8 players en basketball have more players. Also we have boys and girls in one team. Basketball plays with girls or boys. not both

@MrArvidlol It's totally different, not onlt the things xJoO7 says, but also a very different technique, and in my opinion korfball is even harder. I have played basketball and I am playing korfball now (since 5 years or so)... It's such fun to play!
