I have very weak eye muscles, so mydoctor says. I have been experiencing discomfort downt the backside of my neck for a very long time now. Do you think this could in anyway affect the eye muscles also since my vision gets really bad when i feel the discomfort on the back?
Great video. You say that the superior rectus adducts the eye. I have always heard of the anterior cornea/pupil as the frame of reference which would mean abduction from the superior rectus working alone. Elevation, intorsion, and abduction right?
Thanks a lot - your explanation of the origin and insertion finally helped me understand why the superior oblique abducts, depresses and medially rotates, after quite a bit of confusion.

It is the levator palpebrae superioris, there was a small spelling mistake on palpebrae. :)
