really nice... how do u use gouache? can it be used straight out from tube without adding water? and in layers? I read somewhere gouache paint cracks after it dries .. cant remember either if it was in layers or if water was not added... is this right??

You need to really get familiar with the medium. Don't try to make a painting right away. Use scrap papers to test the ground. See first what kind of effects, are you achieving just by making a regular strokes. Always have a dry paper towel near you. Once you paint something you like, wait until the area drys, and then hit it with paint again see if you can paint in layers. Try blending colors. I suggest you buy your self color wheel it will make things much easier.

It all looks like a zombie painted them! Bad drawing, no color concept, just smeared paint. Why not just use fingers? Really nasty stuff! Even my dog wouldn't look at it and he loves everything on the internet!
