I just watched Jonathen Ross' 100 greatest toys and Hornby was on (It was around 20) and I immediatly fell in love...

i didnt know EWS had HSTs what do they use them for?

They don't have any HST's. What yopu see here is one of their DVT's which amongst other things is used on their management train. Cheers.

Is it being picky to point out that the Hornby sign said they were re-writing the book on detail, then had a 395 running that was somewhat lacking in quite a lot of roof detail?

nice! I recall seeing model locos in local American hobby shops....expensive and all from Japan...I suppose today the locos are from China.

I have a pet hate with these model railway shows, does it annoy you also that they find it just to difficult to ensure all the locos and rolling stock on display are seated on the track properly? It really niggles at me that all these companies go on about how they pay so much more attention to detail than their competitors unyet they can't put them on the track correctly.

This one is held in the same place & date(more or less) ever year. We have lots of other big show's all over the UK. I hoping to get to the big Scottish one next year. cheers.

I think there was.Thing is with it being such a big show, it's finding the time to film, browse the stall's & see all the layouts etc. cheers.
