I have just found your videos and, while I am not a nurse or med student of any kind, I am a person with Neurogenic DI (idiopathic). I have found that often persons will think they know what DI is and say they are familiar with it, only to ask "Are you on insulin?" I had heart surgery when I was 45 (a double by-pass) and even my cardiologist was unfamiliar with DI and took my DDAVP away from me! I had a catheter and was literally draining out. Your videos are fantastic to explain DI.
@rexelya Thank you ..God bless you, I have had to stop teaching to take care of my mom, I loved teaching, ironically my peers rarely encouraged me about my teaching as to its merits. A comment such as yours Doctor lifts up my spirits. Again God bless you, yo have me!
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!

why is it called diabetes if it has nothing to do with the pancreas and glucose
harpsaxbassman 7 months ago
@harpsaxbassman to confuse you.. its actually called diabetes due to the similarity of symptom with diabetes mellitus -- polyuria (osmotic diuresis)
