  • So how did Judgment Day end up being Hogan vs Undie and Trips vs Y2J? It should have been the other way round.

  • Why did after HHH won undisputed title at W-mania X8 they get ride of old WCW championship

  • i LOVE IT WEN HH FLIPS HIS HAIR BACKWARDS HES BOSS

  • The greatest of all time!!! taker never drew like Hogan did!!!

  • wow! the original master of the 5 moves of doom..

  • jericho had matt hardys jacket lol

  • Hogan was awesome in 2002

  • I THINK IN 2011 TRIPLE H ALMOST KILLED THE UNDERTAKER ONLY FOR THAT CHAIR IN 2002 :D :D :D

  • hogan is gay, triple h is gay too, both fuck under teh moon ligth every endweek hahahhaha

  • its funny how this is similar to how TNA is now a days, and it drew some of the highest ratings for wrestling back then.... If you people want to see wrestling and good promos still, quit watching WWE and watch TNA.

  • HULKAMANIA WILL LIVE FOEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wrong winner in this match...

  • To say the guy could not wrestle is a flat out discredit. He was trained in the japanese style of wrestling, Vince McMahon asked him to have a watered down skill set just like Cena. IMO cena is a great wrestler(see his early matches where he wore boston colors in every attire) and could flat out go, he got popular and started having mega feuds and they simplified his move set.

  • @ianpk02840 Hogan couldn't wrestle. What are you talking about? Bret Hart could wrestle. HBK could wrestle. Benoit could wrestle. The Dynamite Kid could wrestle. Hogan straight sucked. Big leg drop and putting your had to your ear? Awful.

  • @jcaudill6921 Actually, The Dynamite Kid during this time was in a wheel chair due to the large doses of steroids he took. He doesn't belong in this list to be honest. The others, sure.. but Hogan was a wild card in this match and it was supposed to mean more than wrestling alone. It brought back the memories of the old days to the veteran fans that day and the fan base then was far more than today's fan base. Hogan was voted to win by the guys in the locker rooms, and without ass kissing.

  • @ the people who call hogan overrated...his moves were effective for his time. in the old WWF you pretty much had a select few who could go...Million Dollar Man, JYD, Owen Hart, Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Steamboat, Savage....you need to remember that Hulkamania was born specifically around the Andre the Giant match. granted it was not pretty but the man could wrestle quite well if given the chance. his WCW title match when he first arrived vs. Flair is decent.

  • @ianpk02840 Finally!@.. a fan who knows his history about the sport and its wrestlers! Listen well to this fan because what they said is true. Hogan could wrestle if he needed to, just like Andre the Giant. Ever see him, or Hogan do a drop kick before? Check out their feuds in AllJapan.. they could shoot wrestle along with Antonio Inuki and do amazing wrestling styles when needed. American wrestling was called "STRONG" wrestling meaning more strength and brute force, and less grappling.

  • i love JR's commentary

  • @Agame4713 i love JR's tits

  • hogans a shit~~~~~~~~~~~ Triple H has taken a lot of chairshots to the head, and a lot more intrestin matchs way more then hogan has and he thats what happens lmao it would have been better of hogan was the heel and Triple H was the face, then just maybe it would have been more Convinceing lol

  • Hogan is awful and he was terrible when selling the pedigree. Hogan=most overrated wrestler of all time. His wrestling skills were AWFUL! He was just a marketing ploy.

  • @jcaudill6921 Hogan is the biggest star in proffessional wrestling, so he must have done something right.

  • @GreggggA Hogan was manufactured by Vince McMahon. Billy Graham was the first one to use that gimmick. Hogan just added a bit to it. He was terrible in the ring...absolutely mediocre at best not to mention his backstage politics kept him in the spotlight and kept others down. There were so many people more talented than him that never got a push cause of his bullcrap. Even at 62 years old, he can't give up the dream and realize that no one cares about him anymore.

  • @jcaudill6921 - Like it or not but you have got to admit Hulk Hogan always looked out for his friends. How many paydays did he get for all his WWF friends? Nasty Boys? John Tenta? Piper? Warrior? Savage? Etc. All he did was imitate Billy Graham's look but the rest of him is Terry Bollea. Look at how Flair held onto his spot as long as he could in the 80's when he did not job to Luger or Sting when he should have.

  • @DrizzlingCumJaeLee Hogan was hated by tons of people. Yeah, him and Nash and the Kliq kept people down for years...YEARS! You should read Bret Hart's book about the crap Hogan did and how awful he was backstage.

  • @jcaudill6921

Sounds like Ric Flair if you substitute names, yet people make him out to be the GOAT. Smarks are such idiots. Hogan did what worked...not what he felt like doing. Talent means NOTHING if people don't care about it. No one wanted to see those so-called more talented wrestlers or Hogan wouldn't have been the lead dog for so long.

  • @cbaldwinjr Yeah, and the general public also, eats up crap like Nickelback. I wouldn't put too much stock into that. The public likes what the higher ups want them to like.

  • @jcaudill6921 way to demean the intelligence of your fellow man...

  • @officialvangcreative Are you denying that the public doesn't eat up the most generic and awful garbage? This is the same public that made Lady GaGa, Miley Cyrus, Jersey Shore, Nickelback, Dancing with the Stars, reality tv, Twilight, etc...all famous. I put zero stock into what the public eats up.

  • @jcaudill6921 you need to get out more... alleviate some of that anger

  • @officialvangcreative I get out a lot. Its not anger, buddy. Its called being observative. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that studios try to appeal to the lowest common denominator (the masses). Why do you think stuff like the things I mentioned are super famous? The majority of people are stupid. It has nothing to do with being angry. Its just common sense

  • I think it was stupid to give Hogan the title when they did

He lost to the Rock as WM 18,

Lost to the Undertaker at Judgement Day,

Lost to Kurt Angle at King of the Ring,

Brock Lesnar even beat him (convincingly) on his way to being WWE champion

And after everything Triple H had gone through before he returned, he had to drop the title after ONE month? Bad move Vince.

  • @parkesc21 Eh, it's not like HHH's career was seriously hurt or anything.

  • @parkesc21 here's why hogan won the title here: The wwe writers wanted to give taker another title run by winning the belt from trips at backlash but triple h, being the selfish prick that he is, refused to drop the title to anyone except hogan. hogan was hot off of his match with rock at 'mania so they figured he deserved another title win anyways, so they used hogan to pass the belt ti taker at the next ppv, judgment day.

  • @kill9945 "but triple h, being the selfish prick that he is". Hahahahahahahaha. And Hogan must be a God.

  • @RockAustinDXtakerRk0 sadly yes he was always treated like one, even though he SUCKED ring wise

  • @parkesc21 It wasn't a bad move, because Vince himself said "I had Hogan in 1985, and I'm not sure if he was hotter now than he was then" Hulk's return that year was huge. There were quite a few crowds at Smackdown's that year where all you could see was a sea of red. Red Hulkamania shirts

  • @Panorama1981 Mostly these days Cena has a red sea of kid crowds does that counts?Meh Hogan was much bigger in 1985 and he could actually wrestle back then it was his prime after all :P.

  • @parkesc21 I think they made it up to Triple H for letting him hold the Heavyweight title for well over a year...

  • @parkesc21 CM Punk always said Hogan was an ass kisser

  • @ldc62 who cares what CM punk says...Oh yea Marks do...

  • @ldc62 Who is CM Punk?

  • @parkesc21 You talk as if those things all happened before he got the title, and you also talk like this is legitimate sports, not business. Hogan came back and after WrestleMania, was the most popular man in the promotion, it's stands to reason that riding the enormous wave of popularity that he was at this point, Vince decided to put the belt on him. Once that happened, the nostalgia wore off and he quickly dropped the belt to Undertaker before putting over Angle and Lesnar. Hardly a bad move.

  • @daystilljersey Agree with you 110%. Simply business.

  • @parkesc21 Hulk Should have beat Rock then got the title. That's what the people wanted

  • @parkesc21

Doesn't matter. Hogan was mad over. He only had the title himself for a month anyway.

Triple H would get the World Title in September anyway.

  • Gotta love Hogan's alternate entrance my favorite

  • in the end triple h looks like the ultimate warrior

  • 1. the guy below me can go fuck himself right in his fucking moronic foreign ass

now that that's out of the way, there was no reason for HHH to beat Jericho at Wrestlemania if he was just gonna drop it to Hogan a month later. this was near the height of Hunter's ego trip (he buried Jericho every chance he got), and we all know Jericho could've built the match up better, and most certainly got a better match out of Hogan than Hunter did

  • @jmd620 I am sure hogan was not supposed to win the belt at backlash before wrestlemania. at wrestlemania he became popular again and turned face because he got the pops. so I am pretty sure vince decided to try hogan as champion

  • Wat a lame fights, only americans can enjoy this absolute crap.

  • @RedSphinxSc You know, if it weren't for us Americans helping the leaders in Vilnus to again separate you all from Russia back in the day, you would be standing in a refuge camp, you racist fuck. I am Lithuanian myself, but 100% American by birth and to hear a fellow Lithuanian talk the way you do you are nothing but a little puke hiding behind his screen who needs an ass kicking. Why not grow a set of balls & take your racist remarks then shove them up your candy ass before all 6'8" of me does.

  • @ScyberPsylock Oh dear! You sure do love this fake crap! At least my parents weren't immigrants like yours and you dare to call yourself Lithuanian? You look like typical internet hero who is ready to fight through net and hide behind how hard you could kick my ass. I am not racist at all, if I do mention country in my comment so I automatically become a racist? You are nothing but a joke, making me laugh just like this video.

  • damn, when you look at the list of wwf champions in 2002 ... all h.o.f champions..

  • @RickRomo

    I wouldn't call Brock Lesnar a H.O.F.er

  • undertaker expressions were awesome..

    so devillish..hahaha

  • Hogan worked exceptionally hard in this match...more so than he had in years. It may not have been pretty but you have to give him credit for the effort.

  • Hogan loks the same from 10 years before this

  • Hogan shouldnt have come back! its embarrassing how awful the guy was! it might have worked bk in da 80s but not in da 2000s. hulking up what a load of bullshit

  • hollywood hulk hogan vs hunter hearst helmsley this is hhh vs hhh

  • This was the first live event I ever went too.

  • hogan is ten times the champion triple h would ever be hogan is father of wwe it wouldn't be as big if it werent for hogan hell it wouldn't have lasted through the 80's if it wasn't for the real american every child's hero every wrestler from the 90's idolized hulk hogan so dont you all go talking bad about this man hes the living legend even more then sting 100 times more

  • Nice vid!!!!!

  • would have been better with the American Hero theme song but why can't WWE at least be like this again?

  • dear christmas...this match was overbooked.

  • My god i bet hhh was pissed that daddy vince made him job to hogan.

  • hhh is the king he should have won this

  • Triple H jobbing to over-the-hill Hulk Hogan is awesome.

  • you are right dude hogans leg drop is better the AA hulk hogan is the god of wrestleing world

  • ...I stand corrected he had the title for a little over a month but still.

  • I hate how they have a huge and exciting buildup for Triple H's return and he comes back wins the Royal Rumble goes to Wrestlemania with all this momentum beats Jericho in the main event for the undisputed title and then in only less then a month later loses the title to Hogan.

  • hogan should have never won the title in this match imo.

  • I'm not a fan of long title reigns unless it's a rare exception (Benoit) so I didn't mind them play hot potato with the title in 2002. Only 7 times(well 9 if you count the WHC). At least it wasn't 12 times in 1999.

  • I dont know about yall..but i HATE it when wrestlers hold belts upside down smh

  • why would jericho help hhh if hhh beat him at the last ppv????

  • awesome- even though he lost soon after, i don't care what none yaw say two of the best ever, no one raised more emotion out of people than hogan , i came respect hhh for this giving torch back for a little while. there's better wrestlers angle, lesnar but these two right hear best at entertaining with wrestling. all these new guys are dry and boring all look the same and sound well put me sleep. Angle and austin are the only 2 i'd think bout putting above these two in wwe

  • i was at that match

  • to think hogan was only 47 here when he won the title , when sting won the tna title a few months ago he was 51 lol

  • Comment removed

  • I FUCKIN HATE HOGAN!!! Yea he's a legend but theres no excuse for why Hulk fuckin Hogan, in the year 2002, should holding the Undisputed title! Let alone taking it from Triple H only ONE MONTH after he won it! This is when I knew things were gonna get fuckin lame in WWE and they did.

  • @turnstylezdrumming Really? You fucking idiot, the same Triple H who was holding titles for 8 months at a time? Oh, that's right, you're 12 years old and don't know any better. Hogan held the title for one month and lost it to Undertaker. It was his last World Title victory. STFU and stop crying.

  • @yiassoufile agreed tripleh got plently of title reigns after 2002..................... 2003 he held it numerous times and 2004 and a little in 2005.................... and the story continues..... and yeah this was hogans last time in wwe/f as a wrestler whats wrong with giving a legend one last title reign?.................//

  • @yiassoufile Did you see that match with The Undertaker? Hogan stank the joint up!! And the way he sold that chokeslam was embarrassing!! HHH was a villian whos title reigns were long cuz he was willing to do anything to keep the belt. He wasnt some "immortal" being with super powers! Gimme a break. Not to mention Hogan cant wrestle for shit. Everyone knows that. Except you cuz ur probably too busy dreamin about pleasuring Hogans butthole. Oh and I'm 25 jackass! Been a fan since 93. FUCK A GOAT!

  • @turnstylezdrumming its all fake buddy who cares lol

  • @lordfartacus thats what makes it great mind your business

  • first thing i thought when he won this was "damn he's gonna have to defend isn't he?"

  • Cena is a good wrestler, naa screw that hes a great wrestler you cant win the world title that many times and not be he may not be hogan or the rock but hes still very good, i agree hes gotten a bit boring but thats because hes been doing the same thing for 6 years but thats not his fault thats vince mcmahon and the wwe creative team for not turning him heel

  • @rustykeys178 Dude, he's the Hogan of this generation in terms of popularity (with kids) and mediocrity in in-ring and mic skills.

  • Yeah HHH carried Hogan this match.

  • HOGAN = GOD

  • stupid interfrence//n the stupid undertaker..realy triple h is the winner

  • @Srirajist noo, if jericho hadnt stopped earl hebner then hogan would have won

  • @dcmarvelrulzbkfrmded but me...always the game is winner

  • @Srirajist wtf does but me mean?

  • hogan, what a fkin retard lol

  • I remember this was the year that the title changed hands at pretty much every PPV, Jericho - Triple H - Hulk Hogan - Undertaker - The Rock - Brock Lesnar - Big show - Brock Lesnar - then i think Kurt Angle all within a space of a year

  • @Yidboy4lyfe Yea that shit was going around like hot cakes.

  • @Yidboy4lyfe Yeah, but look at the CALIBER of the wrestlers. It was a great year

  • @Yidboy4lyfe Chris Jericho, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Big Show and Kurt Angle

  • @Yidboy4lyfe 10 months 36 days 33 hours n 31 mins n 29 seconds

  • @Yidboy4lyfe I remember this! I was like...what was the point of Jericho losing to Triple H IF he just is gonna job the title (HHH) to Hogan next PPV! Should have just had Jericho job to Hogan. THEN..Hogan jobs to UT next PPV! And I believe The Rock won either NEXT or NEXT PPV! Than Lesnar beats the ROCK! IT was really nuts! Im glad atleast WWE gives a TAD longer title runs....I mean Christian...wait nvm.

  • @Yidboy4lyfe Yep. But at least none of those guys were John Cena.

  • @SuperPutts1979 OK yes Hogan put pro-wrestling on the map but he is just the same as Cena has been. Started out as a good heel with decent or better wrestling ability then slowly but surely became the corinest face, made lots of funny and was limited to about 5 moves and can only have matches with people that could either go better in the ring or tell stories. For example Hogan's match with Rock at Wrestlemania 18 or Cena's match with Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 23.

  • @NickAW1 Okay I see what you mean. And it's not Cena's fault the WWE has a horrid lack of talent right now. I just wish he'd go away so I can actually watch it again. But Michaels really put Cena over at WM. Just like all the true technicians (Bret Hart, Michaels, Angle, lots of others), they make their opponents look great. Look how good Bret Hart made Diesel look in the two or three title matches they had in the mid 90's. Diesel couldn't wrestle. But he looked good in those matches.

  • @Yidboy4lyfe in 1999 the title changed hands bout 11 times I believe it was rock-mankind-rock-austin-undertaker-austin-mankind-triple h-vince mcmahon-triple h-big show-triple h. I may be missing one but thats pretty much how it went

  • @Yidboy4lyfe This is when the importance of the title took a shit and got eaten by the vultures. These days, it's nothing more than a fucking prop.

---Speaking of, while it was admittedly cool to see an old Hogan with the gold, disregarding his backstage antics, he could barely walk, and had little to offer in terms of carrying the company and moving the business forward, they should NEVER have put the belt around his barely-mobile ass at this point.

  • @Yidboy4lyfe actually big show lost to kurt angle, and angle entered the new year as champion.

  • @Yidboy4lyfe Jericho won it in 2001

  • @Yidboy4lyfe I miss the ol days when people would keep a title for years. It's funny that the new guys (Horton, Cena, Batista) are all like 7 or 8 time champions. It doesn't mean anything anymore the number of time you win a title. Heck, Mick Foley one won the title, then lost it on the next night in Raw. (I know it doesn't beat Yokozuna's reign at WMIX)

  • @Yidboy4lyfe brock - big show then kurt angle

  • @Yidboy4lyfe well actually chris jericho, the undertaker, and brock lesnar were the only three not to lose it the following PPV...they all had at least one succesful PPV title defense

  • @Yidboy4lyfe Yes, it was asif the brand extension screwed up all there plans each time...or they just wanted to get the title around before they brought in the world title. It use to annoy me because I'm so used to long reigns, but this was also an amazing year for the WWF/E.

  • @Yidboy4lyfe Jericho won it in December 2001 at Vengeance, he lost to HHH at Mania 18 in March, Hogan won it at Backlash in April, Undertaker won it at Judgement Day in May, The Rock won it at Vengeance 2002 in July, Lesnar won it at Summerslam in 2002, Big Show won it at Survivor Series in November 2002, then Angle won it at Armageddon in December 2002. There were like 5 PPVs where it didn't change hands.

  • @Yidboy4lyfe They all deserved it tho..

  • awful finisher from hogan! average move

  • @legenddaw It's all in how it is put over. The leg drop is a lot better than John Cena's WEAK attitude adjustment or the people's elbow.

  • @CombatSportFan to be fair to the rock, his finishing move was originally the rock bottom, but the people's elbow was so over that it was good enough to end matches. its all about showmanship, Hogan and Rock had it, Cena doesnt.

  • @jaysupadupafly Cena has it he just doesn't know how to or isn't allowed to use it. The fire he had in 2003-2004 is nowhere to be found now.

  • nice one

  • I remember when I first saw this match in 2002 I kept telling myself throughout the match that there was no way in hell Hogan would win and when he did I was really surprised.

  • @johnnyapplebot same here, i think 99.9% of people expected Trips to retain, especially since Trips was given his 1st babyface title run and Hogan was passe -- but they did it, even tho it lasted one month and Hogan lost it to Taker the next ppv.
