  • you know,I don't think you are speaking american at all. I think you are dubbing the voice in.Just saying...

  • YEAHHHH NIGGA GET CHO ASS IN AMERICA YOU CAN JOIN WITH THAT VOICE NIGGA YEAHHH BUY A GUN TOO AND DRINK SOME WHISKY NIGGA YEAHHH

  • Well i think you sound amazing even though i can tell an accent there but thats only because 1) you told me you're swedish and 2) Im used to accents. The only things that give you away as forgein from America is your 'r's and your name.

  • my grandpa is from Romania and he tought himself an american accent when he was 12 soooo i think you could definitely do it too and it already really good

  • Try making your "i"s (and similar sounds) sound more straight... You have improved from your first video, but the "i" sound you make tends to flow upward. Rather than flowing, it should have the same pitch throughout. :)

  • um am i the only one or was her voice off from her lips by like 3 secs

  • it's good, try to make the o's and a's sound more nasialy, you have improved. and try to work on your r's. good luck :)

  • I agree with the use of "like." We use it a lot, but not quite that much. It's something I honestly thought I'd grow out of as an adult but I still can't seem to shake it. Fortunately I can go into "business mode" and control it for the important stuff but get me in a bar on the weekend and I sound like a valley girl. It's pathetic.

  • Lip sinking?

  • people in america actually say LIKE alot like that.

  • Pretty good(: but why would you want an "American" accent? We have cooler accents then the Midwestern accent lol

  • or just about any T followed with an ER will make a D sound

  • words of advice when you said twitter you said "twitter" we say it like "twidder" whenever there are two Ts followed with an ER it makes a D sound rather than a T

  • I sound EXACTLY like that....-.-

  • random hahaha your silly

  • But the English is good!! :)

  • Please, no lip syncing!!

  • i can hear your european. imposter!!

  • wait...did you dub over this? why is the video so out of sync...

  • Comment removed

  • Your English is excellent by American standards :) Maybe it's just me, but you almost sound as if you have a New York accent.

  • I like your face. It is cute.

  • WTF is this shit. The sounds comes before the image. I am not saying it is playback, but it looks like. What do u think guys?

  • I can only here your original accent once in a while. One thing that I found the norm about our accent (or as I believe, a lack there of) is that most other languages roll their "R"s or in the british's case they barely even use their tongue at all when pronouncing things. Americans usually tend to structure their tongues movement without rolling letters, letting their tongue lay flat, or over enunciating a syllable. Practice structured speaking if you understand my meaning.

  • You pronounced February CORRECTLY* I at least pronounce it Febuary lol.

  • Yeah I never ever would have fussed you weren't from America, great accent! Except you pronounced February directly lol...

  • Your English iz better than ours...ROTFLMFAO

  • Your English iz perfect...g job, honey...

  • Your english needs to improve a bit more

  • "Sound like you were born in America" yea, where in America? Brooklyn? Cali? Mississippi? Georga? Texas? I'll just stick with what I know - Louisiana. New Orleans? Chalmette? Lafayette? Northshore? North Louisiana bible-belt country? Way the f*ck down in Plaquemines Parish's swamps? OOOOH, I GET IT... you're trying to sound like whatever Americans sound like on TV... which can be reduced to white, black, or newsanchor

  • Wow! You should like meet me sometime! I come from a town where we say thinks like "like" and "dude" but we also say y'all and ain't! What my friends and I like to say is "Ain't ain't a word so I ain't gonna say it!"

  • Whoah. You are one history quiz and recital away from being American.

  • Your English sounds good. However, your facial expressions show that you are still searching for the right words.

Your American accent is also very good, but I can still hear a little bit of an accent that sounds both German and Swedish.

The best thing you can do is be more relaxed. It's far better to have a slight accent than to seem tense when you speak.

  • You sort of jumble your words..kinda messy

  • you absolutely DO sound American. America has as many different sounding accents as it has states. if i were talking to you face to face i wouldn't have any idea that you aren't from here. i may ask where you're from because you don't sound like most people from where i live, i would expect you aren't from around here, but never expect you aren't American.

  • @ninjagumdrops she sounds like shes american. well from the east cost. she just has to stsy away ftom all the filler words

  • You're English is great. BTW, are you purely Swedish or mixed? Just curious..

  • Comment removed

  • U dont sound american? but u dont sound as british as some people

  • real talk its pretty good. U say "em" a lot tho no big tho

  • You got it pretty much down packed.. What part of the US r u thinking about moving to?

  • Listen I think you sound good I can understand you so that's fine that means your doing good .. As for the accent I don't hear it.. It just sounds like u get a little nervous at parts cuz of ur thinking about what other people think of your accent but I u just relax and just flow with the words you'll be fine.. Let your brain tell you mouth how to talk don't force words just flow..

  • Please speak a little bit german! And I think your english (plus accent) is very good! But I like the british accent more.

  • Yah you dont wanna use like too much your right, only valley girls and snobs do that and the world hates them, dont think anything is much worse. You're as accent free as I have ever heard a european however, it depends on what part of the U.S we are talking about here. I am from Massachusetts and I would be able to pick you out from a mile away. There are many different accents in U.S. In Mass we don't pronounce r's. Car is cah, butter is buddah. Then other things like coffee is cuawffee, etc.

  • I ain`t american and ain't bein' creul but Im frm T&T n u sortta song like ur singung But I still luv it kk? izza luvin'

  • If you are English can you tell me if u like American accents?: D

  • I don 't need to improve my american accent ..

I was born with it ;D

    ( I think ) ..

  • What does your non-American accent sound like? (:

  • so wait where r u from i honestly cant tell

  • its pretty good. when you said video it sounded weird. the i was clipped off and the e was too pronounced. the o in month was clipped off too short too. sometimes your r's are too hard.

  • Try saying this "I'm a smelly Cuntress," attention whore video. Kill yourself and die slut"

  • @Phadedmugz you are pathetic. <3 bitch.

  • dude ur gorgeous!

  • i hate persians.

  • americans don't have accents silly! or do we....?

  • @keith27mobile yes we do .. everyone does

  • @bbloveutoo it was a joke dude...

  • @keith27mobile I'm not sure if that's a joke or not, But if it isn't. Of course you do, Surely you can tell if someone comes from New York, Alabama or New Orleans, We as non Americans can tell the difference, We can tell the different accents but maybe not be able to tell you where they come from. The only one I recognise for sure is the Brooklyn accent.

  • You are one of a kind!

fanned and faved. You're my role model, I really admire you girl. My questions would be, why do you like american accent and how much time do you usually spend working on your accent? Did you buy any book to correct your pronunciation?

  • Are you british because you sound just like we I convinced myslef you were american

  • So was the whole thing in an American accent?? I don't get it...

  • Okay yes you need to say like and I'm a lot not omg like I saw in the comments that's just most of the ghetto or ditzy or snobby girls say and there is ALOT of slang you need to learn urban dictionary :) but pretty much good :)

  • I have a better American Accent, yeah I was born in Atlanta.

  • February, born, important. Only words where I could tell.

  • Too Much and um and um!!!!!!!!

  • No, you have to say LIKE. That is the way the majority of white girls speak (not even being mean about it's so true). And you have to say "you know" and OMG! Then you're just like the majority of US teens.

And February is pronounced exactly how you say it but mostly in northeastern states. But in metropolitan areas line NYC, Philly, Miami and LA, it's Feb-YOO-ary.

  • @missthunder69 Because both my parents are from Iran!

  • Just something to think about, i'm not sure if you have already have improved abou this but when you say "February" Pronounce it more like "Feb-you-air-ee" instead of "Feb-rue-air-ee"

  • Just by curiosity, is there any reason why you learn farsi?

  • If i'm ameriacn can i do an american accent video?

  • your american accent is good but i like the swedish accent better

  • first of all you are gorgeous, and secondly you speak beautiful English and you can say 'like' as much as you want to we don't mind a bit

  • Compared to 1st video, you sound much more german-american now. You can probably pass for parts of California or north Illinois now as well. People who told you to drop the "like" were doing you a favor. Putting such irrelevant words into sentences does sound american, but it sounds like "idiot" american, so you are best to leave them out. If you need to speak a little slower in general to have the words flow smoothly, that would serve you better. Your intonation is good.

  • It's fine if you say "like" people do say it, BUT contrary to what Black2612 is saying above you DON'T want to add more "you knows" or "likes", it's a bad habit to get into.

But, overall your accent is great! I would never have noticed anything if I wasn't paying close attention!

  • You sound way more American in this video! As for "like", Americans (especially young Americans) say like all the time!

  • I'm a 63 year old 'Valley Girl' from California who still says LIKE in her sentences. Like, ya know? Fer SHURE dude. Your accent has improved 99% since the last video. Can still hear a teeeeeny accent in words like 'consideration' .. you said: conseederation. Also, you'll need to pronounce words like 'sentence' and 'importance' as sent'nce and import'nce. See? Looking forward to the next video. I will say this about any accent. Why would you EVER want to lose it? It's charming!!

  • @lindaleecasey thanks! actucally the 4TH video is out haha (:

  • @lindaleecasey Interestingly, I say sentence "sentence", and importance "import'nce".

  • @lindaleecasey um kinda freaky your saying that are you a man or women

  • @lindaleecasey LIKE someone needs to improve their English after 63 years...LIKE its a bit juvenile and LIKE you know, it makes the speaker sound LIKE they don't have choices of words or LIKE they can't articulate more than a few words. You know? Oh, 62 year old male from Chicago here, forget about it youz guyz

  • all your videos are about an american acent

  • Are you sure you're not American? Lol

  • South Californian accent for the win! You totally got the slur (is it called a slur?) at the end that a lot of us do. XP We say "like" as a type of "um" or "..." just so that we don't sound dumb when we're at a loss of words, but we still kinda do because of it. XP

    Cute! :D

  • thanks for tricking us not to thinking

that your not originally American lol

  • simple u r beautiful ,

  • I like your accent. It's fine the way it is. Be yourself. Don't think about sounding like you're from Ohio.

  • @69UM24OSU12 as long as it's not southern Ohio :p

  • Amazing accent and a totally cute girl

  • you know i was always wondering where the accent comes from, where people are like repleh, instead of replay, and weh, instead of way, you know what I mean? like darnoc from TGN has that accent. where is it from. Is Canadian?

  • I have an amazing american accent too. Because I'm american.

  • CHEEEEEEEEEEEWbaka..

  • @OurEnglishSucks hehehee, its funny cuz baka means idiot/moron on japanese C:

  • The word "consideration" at about 0:56 sounded a bit off. The vowel in the first syllable should be indistinct (it's technically called a "schwa" and I think you might have something like it in Swedish). I'm an American and you asked for constructive criticism so I gave it to you. I'm not surprised that you're Swedish. A lot of Scandinavians have really good accents when they speak English (like you). This is so much the case that I'm not even very shocked or surprised by it anymore.

  • Wait...are you Swedish? I was just going by what it said on your profile :)

  • where is she from?

  • I live in Southern California and you sound like you could be my neighbor! You almost sound like a velley girl. Totally. Like gag me with a spoon!

It's harder for an American to do a British accent because you have so many dialects. We tend to mix them up. I can do a decent British accent when my mind is right. Perhaps I'll try it in a video response sometime.

  • dude how is that your mouth dont move the same time as the sound that come out

  • I like your accent.

  • nigger love

  • "Like" is a Californian thing, and also in New York, a lot of girls say "like"

  • @nellie2581 "Like" is really an everywhere thing nowadays.

  • @yurismir1 Thanks

  • I've been an american all my life (47 years) and I can tell you that your accent is amazing! Don't listen to the people who tell you not to say "like" so much. It sounds very authentic. Girls your age here say "like" constantly. You might want to add a few "you know's" though. For instance, "I, like, went out with my friends, you know. And there were, like, these creepy guys there who, like, kept staring at us, you know?"

Other than that, your accent and vernacular are, like, totally awesome!

  • @Black2612 very true

  • @Black2612 I mean your advice is sound... But me being a 16 year old american... The stereo type of Americans saying "like" and "You know", etc... are quite annoying because we don't talk like that..

  • @RelaxItsLiz - Lies. I'm 21 and I use 'like' and 'you know' quite a bit. Not to a huge extreme, but it does stand out every now and then.

You're accent is great, though. I would notice that it's a little different, but I would just assume that it's just regional differences in America, not a completely different country.

  • @Black2612 PEDOFILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @Black2612 Agh, no! Saying "like" and "you know" should be deterred!

  • Iv got an boring Aussie accent -_-

  • @fantagevloggies I personally love accents of any sort

  • Don't know what she on about

  • Of my freaking goodness you sound American. You could live in America, and nobody could ever tell you were from England or whatever. Can you reply to this comment and tell me what the american accent reminds you of? Because I have read countless times where people think we talk like we dont know English. Because we do. Well, at least some of us do:) people with an English accent remind me of royalty. Idk why.

  • Can you say?.....LYNYRD SKYNYRD!!!

  • When I opened this video, I thought you were trolling because I thought you WERE American. Great accent.

  • I have been speaking english all my life and i am 13 but i wantes to learn farsi and i am having an extremely hard time pronouncing things in farsi. Expecially the kh sound and hg and sh So i am listening to farsi speakers to hear some of it to help me

  • are you....lip-syncing? O_O

  • American accents are never amazing...

  • you have me convinced with your american accent...i would never guess you were foreign and ii live in California..born and raised

  • You decide to do it ! You decide to do it ! Finally man ! I cant talk to her... :D

  • much better, very much improved, its getting there

  • @Aero159x Shut the fuck up. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Kay. Bye.

  • @AnnaBlithe wow, like your sore spot?

  • Parasto is an Persian name. Are you like mixed with persian ?

  • when u get nervous ur accent shows more

  • To fit in America: Say "like" A LOT!

  • You have improved greatly since the first video. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it.

  • Braces are hawt on cute chicks like you. And yea.. stop looking so much into accents.. who cares?!?!

  • @IceTTom Many people care about accents. Personally, I am studying languages and linguistics, so I find accents fascinating. Just because you may not personally find a topic interesting doesn't mean you have to be rude about it... I can guarantee that for any given topic, there is a substantial number of people who are interested in it, even if it is considered traditionally "boring," like math, or "gross" like insects.

  • Your accent is improving now work on content-you sound smart and vanilla (not a bad combo) but I have to guess you are a struggling actress so try some Southern Belle or New York attitude! good luck!

  • you say like so much. you'd fit in here for sure

  • what's funny is that you saying "like" a lot is making your accent 100% more believable because like we like say it like way too much anyway! Like I would probably say like only slightly less often than you are, if that.

Actually your accent sounds just like my friend who was born in America and speaks English but lived in Norway for a while when she was younger.

  • How come ALL your videos are Un-synced? I mean the Lips and Sound don't Sync with Video.

  • I am amirican an your hot

  • HOLY COW!! THAT'S ONE GIGANT BRACE!!

  • @MrrRasmusE hahahaha! I got them off a loooong time ago! See my latest vid!

  • @Peom1 oh.. Okay... *trollface*

  • America is the great melting pot. There is no "American accent" perse. I live next to naturalized Americans from Russia. A very large number of Southerners cannot understand a person from New York, new Jersey or New England. Find a copy of the movie "My Cousin Vinny" and watch it in English. It is a really cute send-up of the differences in accents between various States. Your accent is great. If anyone asks where you are from, just tell them a little town 45 miles south of Seattle.

  • @higgme1ster

True, the usa is a huge country and has like over 300 different accents.

  • i love braces on girls, you are so beautiful! *_* please please please make a video where you talk german a little bit, you said you can speak a little bit of german in your first video :)

  • I see some others have said the same thing, but speaking clear English with any accent whatsoever is thought of as awesome here. Promise.

  • I say leave your accent they way it is. You speak very clear English but it still has an exotic quality that's attractive and makes you stand out...You'll have American guys lining up to talk to you.

  • you're very very good!<3

  • The only word I can really pick out is February.

  • Closer than the other video, but your Euro accent is still slightly there. Seriously tho, Euro accents are so much better than American ones. Stick with that. :-p

  • There are about a thousand american accents. Did you fool everyone when you were here?

  • You sound exactly like a midwestern American to me, and I was born here. The only thing I noticed (in your first video) was you pronounced your home country as "Swe-den". We pronounce it more like "Swedn", like we're pretending there is no second letter "e". Other than that, perfection. And, you are not just cute - you are so much more than that. BTW, I pronounce February as you do.

  • Yur lip talking. ?

  • Yeah you sound like you're from Northern California or Portland and Seattle but lived in Vancouver Canada. Hahahah.

  • I noticed how you said "February." That was funny. I usually never here us Americans pronounce that first R. We just usually say [feb-u-ary.]

  • your doing ir right! you say like alottt thats actually one of the most common words white girls in the us use lol

  • ...why the hell do u want to speek american? its hideous... i hete how we all sound so rrrrrtttrrrtttttthhhh blah.... lol... i love british accent

  • make a facebook

  • You would pass for a west coast/ pacific northwesterner! Good job! From Seattle wa, USA

  • Meh, but cool whatever

  • omg your accent has improved so much since then!

  • are baba kheili khoobe...I live in CA, and I should tell you to work a little bit on words containing the letter T...but you're doing pretty fine.Anyway I'm curious to know whether you're going to CA as a tourist or an immigrant.

  • you should do a video talking in farsi please!

  • Thumbs up if you think this girl is cute

  • Wait what? You're not American? Well shit ._. That was a really good accent

  • Omg waaaaayyyyyyyy better!!!!!!!!!!! Could pass as american now!

  • OMG U HAVE LIKE NO ACCENT NOW HAHAHA.

  • so just say Californian accent instead of American. Because just like the United Kingdom America has many different accents just depends on what part youre from

  • WELL... In California everyone says "like" like a whole bunch. lol

  • I thought you were American. Auf Wiedersehen (I think...)

  • @FlonzyFilms

That was German ... she's from Sweden ;)

  • @YTmurphy Some parts of Sweden speak German...

  • @FlonzyFilms

Please tell me which parts, just in case I'm planning a trip to Sweden one day ... would be much easier for me then, because I don't speak Swedish! :D

  • @FlonzyFilms no, wtf are u talking about

  • It sound American to me the first time, but I'm English so... Yeah not the best judge of American accents

  • I wouldn't have noticed that you're not American! Good job.
