  • Holy crap! It's not half as scary as i imagined. It doesn't even look like i remember!

  • this is the episode that gave me nightmares for three years!!! i'm scared to watch it!

  • I totally remember this show!!

  • @tapolna Really? Are u serious right now

  • As a child, I got scared every time my nanny eye's glowed red, even though she kept telling me not to worry about it. When I got older I really got scared a lot when I discovered that her eye's glowed red every time she had a few drinks. That's when I ran away and lived a safer life in the streets where the only thing that glowed red were traffic lights and police lights!

  • Being in an unfamiliar house, hearing the sound of the heating unit with two red indicator lights on the wall, sounds like that could scare somebody.

  • What's that machine at the beginning called? I want to watch a video of it in HQ.

  • Lol, some people find this scary or freaky, but I find it hilarious. The ending "twist" is extremely cheesy! I could see it being scary for a little kid, but not for adults XD.

  • My friends and I use to watch this show when we came back from school and guess which stories would be fact or fake.

  • Ah, such great memories. I recall watching this show a few years back in Sci-Fi (back when the network still had that name) and I thought it was awesome. Whenever I saw a creepy episode stated as "Fact", I knew I wouldn't get to sleep that night, lol. Interesting episode. I think I saw them all.

  • why dont people make these kind of shows anymore, it was amazing back in the 1900's.

  • Good memories with these shows. My family would have a contest to see who could figure out which ones where fact and fiction.

  • Shit Jonathon Frakes says

  • billy needs to get off the shrooms

  • I remember this as the most ridiculous episode of this show.

  • Wasn't there an episode about a clown doll and a babysitter? If so, what's it called?

  • Ya buddy

  • this show helped me in life. makes me believe.

  • why, when everything in your body tells you to run, people feel the need to ask, "Who's there?" really? LOL

  • so how did anyone know that the nanny was evil?

  • are you sure its fact because it looks like a fction

  • My theory: The husband's right about the lights and the heater. But the nanny as the monster? That's just the show making a twist ending for this story. Simple as that.

  • i watched this when i was 10, scared the shit outta me. good times

  • @shutthefuckuploser sameeeee hahaha thats why im watching it now when im 18

  • @shutthefuckuploser ha ha same, definetely not scary watching now :(

  • @shutthefuckuploser I was almost 17 when I remembered seeing it and it freaked me out then. I do agree, some of the best times were spent watching this show

  • isnt fact and fiction pretty much the same exact thing lol

  • @muz469

    No, they're opposites.

  • @muz469 ha actually non-fiction is fact :)

  • I hope the red eye lady protect the family and dont plan to harm them.

  • This one and the one where the big brother disappears into the closet to because he tries to prove his brother there aren't any monsters in the closet are the 2 scariest episodes o_O

Does anybody know where I can find that episode, btw? I love being scared!

  • @Dooptasticness I know what you're talking about. Lol. My sister didn't even look at her closet for weeks, let alone go in it. Funny thing is we lived in NC at the time when we saw that episode.

The episode is called 'Kid in the closet' - it was based on actual events in North Carolina between two brothers.

  • @Dooptasticness Hi. I just wanted to tell you that story was proven fake

  • This was the first episode I saw of this show. Used to scare the shit out of me when I was a kid.

  • @gamecubeclock same.. ! i was 12 back then.. i had trouble sleeping that very same night :D

  • good show but never believe any of it

  • maybe the ghost is a fat guy who want's all the food it only was in the kitchen XD

  • I never fully understood all this. Maybe it was to scare him from the cookies?

  • i knew it was her, Its always the one saying "its all fake" thats involved in it.

  • This has got to be the scariest beyond belief episode ever. at 6:40 I had nightmares and couldnt sleep because of the red glowing eyes.

  • scariest episode of all

  • i thought her ass was gonna get eaten when she was in the process of consoling him

  • i honestly never understood this segment.

  • . Before even seeing the ending, I totally knew it was going to her lol .

  • 6:40

    It stares into your soul.

  • @ps3fan19686 I know scary

  • I loved watching this show when I was younger, I admit though, it did scare the hell out of me or leave me paranoid. However the awesome stories kept bringing me back from my paranoia. I will forever remember this show.

  • was this one fact or fiction

  • @ak318

    Fact.

You can imagine the paranoia I had as a child when I first watched this.

  • this is bullshit. they shouldnt just say fact if its not...if 1 in 10 stories were true then that would be good enough, no need to make shit up

  • This episode freaked me out as a child... but I still love these!!

  • man did this one suck like monica.

  • @MermaidDamsel people want to know if its real or not ok? the suspense is killing us. give us a chance to live for god sake.

  • If this is fact how the fuck did they know SHE was the red eyed thing?

  • @dxmagma The fact isn't that SHE was the red eyed thing. The fact is that there was a report that a family was frightened by something with red eyes and freaky breathing and other stuff that was mentioned, as opposed to someone on Beyond Belief's payroll fabricating the entire story themselves.

  • @dxmagma Good point actualy.

  • that guy sound like david from gargoyles

  • @mewt66

    Probably because it is. :)

(Frakes was the voice actor for Xanatos).

  • @mewt66 If I'm not mistaken Jonathan Frakes was the voice of Xanatos. @_@

  • @1stbrasscaptain he was. He was also Commander Riker on Star Trek The Next Generation.

  • @Kelseyalicia I remember both of his appearances...he had the loveliest voice.

It's sad he kind of faded into obscurity during the 2000's.

  • @1stbrasscaptain A lot of great people and shows have vanished since the turn of the century. TV seems to be getting worse each day and the good stuff keeps getting yanked!

  • @Kelseyalicia I concur...television used to be a medium of expression and escape. Now, we have constant paparazzi driven media and correlated "news".

Also, there are far too many shows on now that are ratings driven...the executives and whomever don't allow shows to find a niche.

*There is hope for some television shows though...they can snag cable time on nostalgic channels.* Hallmark...Boomerang...TV Land...etcetera.

  • @1stbrasscaptain yeah. But the trouble is most of its on at midnight and I need to sleep at that time. It just sucks. If writers are out of ideas for good shows they really should read some of the fans' fanfics. We can come up with better TV then these idiots could come up with!

  • @Kelseyalicia Ah, yes the power of fanfiction. ^_^ Television doesn't have to be degrading, demeaning, demoralizing and what not to be considered entertainment. Some persons actually like to learn and exercise their brain while they watch television. We would have a plethora of new shows if there were more women in the writers, producers, and directors chairs. I have no problem with males that are in charge. The only problem I have is with stale, contrived, sexist and/or misogynistic drivel.

  • @1stbrasscaptain are you agreeing or disagreeing?

  • @Kelseyalicia Agreeing to we don't have many options as far as television programming. We can write better than they can...more realistically anyway.

Although, tonight I will be watching the American adaptation of Prime Suspect on NBC at 9pm and 10 pm. Fantastic show...I need to watch the UK original that starred Helen Mirren to compare and contrast.

  • @1stbrasscaptain All the good stuff gets yanked and now if the world does end at the end of the year then it will end with a bad program. How ironic would that be?

  • @Kelseyalicia Tee-hee, ^_^ indeed, if any sort of civilization does rise from the ashes what dreck would they dredge up? The Jersey Shore Show, Real Housewives, a million shows about cupcakes. Oh, the horror. >_<

  • @1stbrasscaptain I totally agree with you!

  • @Kelseyalicia The State of the Union Address tonight made my horror abate...somewhat. o_-- Alright 2012, here we go!

  • @1stbrasscaptain I wouldn't know. I just watched the Blackhawkes lose to Nashville.

  • @Kelseyalicia Oh, hmm...hockey. Interesting. I've never seen a bout, match, or game...whatever it may be called. The only thing I do know is there is usually one to three points earned in a game. There is a lot of hitting, breaking of noses, losing of teeth etcetera. *I obviously don't have any comprehensive knowledge of the sport. ^_^*

I'm sorry that your team lost though. V_V

  • @1stbrasscaptain thanks for the sympathy. Its a game and they sucked last night 3-1! But whatcha gonna do? So I hope things get better. Right now I've got to get ready to work. I just got my upcoming scheadule and it not gonna be easy. Three days of seven am to eleven am. Stand outside in the cold. Well I need the money so whatcha gonna do?

  • scary, yes.

But not as scary as the story of the Closet monster that... well, not spoiling anything. Watch it.

  • This episode is fake Fcking FAKE!

but In the end of this episode ... TRUE ... ?!!? WTF? :D haha nice try i think :-/

  • @sector0062 Relax oh wise one. We weren't aware we had to depend on you to tell us whether something is real or not. I think we can decipher those opinions ourselves thanks.

  • @sector0062 Relax oh wise one. We weren't aware we had to depend on you to tell us whether something is real or not. I think we can decipher those opinions ourselves thanks.

  • Does anyone know where I can buy the DVD

  • @ElaineHkt Only Season 1 is out and I bought mine at Barnes and Nobles. They have movies now. :)

  • my absolute favorite.

  • The end was creepy. The nanny smiling and her eyes turning red. *shudders*

Oh, and it's fact. Gosh darn it!

  • @deadwalkingcg when i seen your comment i tought it was gunna be sh!t scary but thers barely scary LOL haha

  • I wish you wouldn't put the fact or fiction in the title.

  • now i want a cookie

  • A FAKE Episode :/

  • 240p we meet again

  • i used to live for shows like this

  • This is when Sci Fi was still good and when it was actually spelled right.

  • @Alienpandaprincess was* also, good point.

  • I think (Im Hungarian) this is still on the LIFE Network!

  • 6:42 Motherfucker...

  • Better than all horror movies together!

  • Damn! Dis episode hella scary folk!!!!

  • that bitch made me scared of the dark

  • omgg me too this show esp this episode still scares me even tho im 18 now! i will neverr gett this story out of my head

  • Aww that granny is such a good comforter.

  • Damnit reddit.

  • NO RIKER I CANNOT SEE THE NUMBERS BECAUSE OF THE 240p

  • @gatordude731 THERE...ARE...FOUR...LIGHTS!

  • @gatordude731 LMAO Same thing I thought XD

  • Obviously, she was possessed sometime during the story. Key word: story.

  • i dont get it. that was his nanny even before they moved into the house and with that being said why do they think the nanny was the demon i mean did anyone ever even see her eyes turn red? idk its just kinda confusing

  • how long ago did this show air? i rememberr it when i was little

  • ...but then again... how can you describe terror? O_o

  • @deadwalkingcg Oh man, I know how that is. I used to have to sleep with the lights on for days after watching it....I am considering doing it again now after seeing it again >.<

  • this episode is by far the scariest episode i have seen im 16 now and it scares the hell outta me

  • I knew it looked like something was up with her!! that creeped me the heck out!

  • this is a good show to see why dont they bring sumthin like this back....

  • This show is awesome. Thank you for uploading it!

  • Like was is the creature suppose to do lol? I"m still scared of this one and I;m 27

  • OH GOD NO! This is the episode that made me fear yellow wall paper... No..oh god no! :'(

This show fucked up my childhood

  • I also was wondering how this is fact, because nobody was there to see the nanny's eyes, but I think they dramatized that part. In the "true" story, the boy probably DID see the nanny's eyes glow and nobody believed him, or something like that. It's just always scarier to have a "twist ending". xD

P.S. I miss this show so much, thanks for uploading.

  • wow...all pixels...cant even watch it...

  • maybe its contact lens.

  • This episode used to scare the hell out of me.. Still does.

  • Avada fucking Kedavra, bitch! D:

  • first i saw it when i was 10 and i was like "FUFUFFFUUUUUUUUUUU"

now i watch again in my 19 and i was like "FFFFFFFUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKK"

  • This is true, look up "shadow people" a close friend of mine experienced this.

  • hilarious

  • Granny be highhhhsamafucka

  • the nanny needs some eyedrops

  • This can't be fact because who saw her eyes light up like that, if they did it them selfs then it's fiction because unless someone saw her eyes go red it's not fact.

  • @simpkin15

You bring too much logic to a show like this lol. :) This series was never meant to be a documentary relaying actual facts. It's just for entertainment.

  • i miss shows like this

  • @halloweenteen1 fuck yeah this show was the shit when i was little i would watch all the time nothing really comes to it now a days

  • @halloweenteen1 they have a new show out on Sci-Fi, it's called Paranormal Witness, it's like a new version of this except without the fiction part

  • @Reawakenedmaster i've seen it. i loved it but a lot of people prefer a haunting which is also similar but i love both, though ive only seen one ep of paranormal witness it should be good and thank you for suggesting the show to me

  • They exaggerate the stories on this show. It really did happen, but they made it scarier than it really is.

  • Who was outside the door to see her eyes turn red folk?? So, the nanny did it outside the room with the candlestick. Case solved!!

  • Oh dear god the quality D:

  • Hello childhood trauma, how you been the past ten years? Me, I've been scared shitless of the red light on my CD player, KTHNXBAI

  • splitzwizard was here

  • i was watching this episode because it has haunted me for years,i decide to confront my fear, and as i watch it my babys toy lights up with red lights, scaryyyyyyy

  • Do albinos have red eyes?

  • This used to come on reality tv I used to watch it when I was a kid.

  • @andabreadwasmine it's still on there.......infact i watched a few episodes back to back about 6, 7 hours ago on said channel under whatever name it's using now

  • how is this fact...

  • This episode scared the shittttt out of me when I was younger!

  • Did anyone else turn on there lights after seeing this story.

  • this is a bad one

  • bitch XD

  • thank you for this!

  • is this on DVD? if so, I'm totally gonna buyu it

  • i remember this show!!!!!!

  • thanks for this episode upload! :)

  • How the hell do her eyes glow red in real life? Seriously? Who can do that? If I could do that, I would for sure but I would go for just the irises of my eyes, not my whole eyes

  • UGH! One of my favorites!

  • The stories in the program have connections with the psychic phenomena. That's an abomination.

Leviticus 19:31: “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.

  • @eric5335 Ha ha ur so gay! Faggot.

  • The nanny is going to eat us all...

  • How did they see her with glowing red eyes...is there a deeper part of the story that they couldn't fit into the program?

  • @Healthyland you got to understand that alot of the cases they do are baised off of real events... even if it was true they usually spice it up just to make it more interesting but the fictions are always made up from popular lore. Chances are if it wasn't a circut breaker, it could be the reflection of car tail lights driving by, an animal of some sort that looked like it had glowing eyes, or the lights of there breaker system as shown in the tv series

  • @Healthyland chances are the old lady had nothing to do with it at all but they wanted to tie it together so why not.

  • @vampuricknight1 But I'm just saying, given that the story was true, who saw the nanny leave the boys room with glowing red eyes? He gave a small explanation at the end saying she was possessed so that's why I figured it was more to it.

  • @Healthyland again its all about the dramatization he also gave explinations like was it just there imagination... really its left up to the viewer... i'm sure if you look up there sources you might find out yourself (personally i don't care i think it was true but no supernatural happenings)

  • this isnt as scary as i remember

  • @KAMiiKAZii1 thats exactly wat i was gonna say.

  • this isnt as scary as i remember

  • this is fact or fiction?

  • @XZI360 look at the title :)

  • @XZI360 yes, this story was fact and scared the shit out of me as a kid.
