What I wanted to say is that I'm hoping for a rhinoplastic surgery in the near future, with a little economical help from my parents. They have asked me why I want to change my nose, and I have said that I'm doing it entirely for myself and not for anyone else. I just feel insecure with my nose, that's it! Think it looks odd. As I said, my nosetip has a vertical line that goes from nostril to nostril. The nose looks "cut" into two pieces. I just want to have a fine, round normal nose :'(

I don't know if I should be happy or sad. For a time ago I didn't quite undestand the whole thing with plastic surgerys, thought it was bad. But for now, I'm an adult at 20 years and my nose has grown a bit to the side, with ha bump on the right side of the nose. It stands out very clearly and I feel such ashame of it. You clearly see that the nose is crooked. My nosetip is really ugly. The very end of it has a clear visible line that goes vertical from nostril to nostril, it looks odd :'(

Everyone who says it looks scary and painful, god damn people, you are sleeping during the surgery! You won't feel anything, when you wake up it's done! yeah yeah maybe it will hurt for a short time after the surgery but you get a nose that you at least can be pleased with. I am a 19 year old guy who probably will do a surgery just to remove cartilage in my nosetip, cuz it looks stupid. hopefully, it will look good.

I used to hate my bump but now I know it is what makes me look unique and I like it now. I probably would have had a nose job when I was younger. But to each her own :) If it makes you happy, go for it. Don't do it for anyone else. And it would be wise to wait when you're older for 2 reasons: your face structure will change and mature and/or you may grow out of your insecurities and realize you look fine.

I'd like to get a nose job. I'm 18 and also have septum deviation - which I'd like to fix, - since as a child. Finally, I feel more courageous to have it, but I'm still very concerned about anesthesia issue. I heard some cases about complications originated from it, especially the general one. In my cause, I'd like to reduce the bone (I have an arabian nose). Would I have to break the bone?

What if I have local anesthesia? Will it be less risky ?

Yes you usually have to break the bone after removing the bump. Local anesthesia would probably be too painful.
