Goatgirl, Barack Obama is a politican. He's one of the best, which to me is not a compliment. Like any politician he will say what people want to hear to get elected...

It's not so much that he's a liar, but that he's so inexperianced. I mean, to say to John McCain (a man with over 30 years experiance in foreign affairs) that he's WRONG on foreign policy is so silly. What does Obama know about these subjects? What his friends/advisors tell him?

Sarah Palin is just as inexperienced as Obama is, but I don't hear you complaining about that.
It's not that McCain is wrong on foreign policy (I still have more research to do on that), but that if he dies suddenly while in office, say, do we really want Palin in office? She has NO foreign policy experience, and we really want her that close to running the country? I don't think so.

no you're right. She has very little foreign policy experiance. But she's not at the top of the ticket is she? McCain isn't likely to get sworn into the Oval Office and then suffer a stroke. She'll have the time to learn these things. Obama won't. He's got to know this stuff NOW. Besides, Palin isn't there to boost McCain's foreign policy but the ticket's Executive power. She's already successfully run a goverment.
By the way Reag, watch what you say about Obama's grandmother. She died today.

Yeah, but hearing/reading it from an unbiased source helps. Or, as unbiased as a small town girl who clings to her guns and religion can get anyway....
