@iAmJemR you need final cut studio - you have to slow the clip in final cut then "send to" motion and apply optical flow rendering as opposed to frame blending. this will take some time then save in motion , go back to final cut and the data is there and render in final cut, done! - google optical flow slomo to find better descriptions

@zMXer718 shoot in 720p60 when doing action shots. 1080p is best for when mounted in cars, on motorcycles, or other stable fixed positioning.

@zMXer718 If you have Final Cut and Cinema Tools: take that 720p 60fps footage, drag it into cinema tools, and then conform it to 24p. Badda Bing you're done. Twixtor is good too if you want to REALLY slow it down. BUT, most objects must move through the frame, not followed. Get high contrasts like the sky or solid backgrounds, and watch for movement behind the subject, that doesn't help it. All of that well help make your stuff look like a real 1000fps shot. Takes a long time to render too.

@TrampsNjunk ok, well i use sony vegas, but i'll try to explain it because i get 1080p videos. when rendering don't use a default template, make a custom one. in it make the rendering quality: best. change frame size to 1440 x 1080, and make bit rate 4,000,000. allow source to adjust frame rate and stuff like that. hope fully this helps!

@TrampsNjunk No problem, I guess just use the highest frame size possible, also make sure the bit rate can go along with the frame rate, otherwise it'll look awful. If it's important enough to you, get a new system.
