Donald Duck the first Mighty Ducks player ever. I guess Donald probably was one of the inspiratons for the existance of the NHL team, Anaheim Mighty Ducks. The Walt Disney Company created this team in 1993 after their 1992 film with the same name.

Funny, I'm familiar enough with this from having watched it as a kid that I notice the scene between 5:44 and 5:50 is new to me. In the version I had recorded they cut that part to make it look like he goes straight from popping out of the ice (with the ice fragments mysteriously disappearing midair) to landing on his feet.

In retrospect I can see how the visual gag of Donald hanging limply from a noose would be considered inappropriate enough to cut.
