I have been craving a MENTOR...all the PEOPLE I looked up to and that mentored me are dead in body. I guess because GOD is my creator....I felt the only way I could connect was on a SPIRITUAL level..... I most definitely have to renew this connection as a SAVIOR ...CONFIDANT and PRAISE BE..... A narrow mind is a narrow mind. You adhere to beliefs like they are truths. But unless you have an experience of God , not from your head, but from your heart, then you are merely repeating the words of others. Where is your own personal experience of God? Jesus had no guru, Jesus was never in India/Tibet. Jesus's teachings in the NT are in contradiction to yoga/hinduism.

Jesus came as a fully perfect master and did not need to be taught, you are right. But his teachings are very close to the teachings of other world religions: to love people, to be compassionate, to care about people, to love God and to avoid darkness, anger, negation and pride.

The bible doesnt teach ecumenism, coming together of world religions. The world religions are in major contradiction. Biblical Christianity teaches all other religions are false. You know the verse, I'am the way, the life, the truth...

Jesus taught love for all neighbors, even for Samaritans and enemies. To make those who do not believe the way you do is animosity and hatred and prejudice. Jesus loved everyone and wanted to heal and teach all people. Do the same and then you won't be divisive and proud of your beliefs. The inner paths of all religions do not contradict each other very much at all. The outer faiths hold animosity for those who don't believe the way they do.
