Back then krotons were a real menace. Nowadays we stir them through our soup :-)

A cold opening or recap of events before the title sequence could have made the original series more suspenseful. I think that the only time that they did something even remotely close to a cold opening in the original series was in The Ambassadors of Death where part of the title sequence was shown, following the cliffhanger ending from the previous episode and then a musical "stinger" with episode titles shown on the screen.

@jamespotter76 Well I must say you have an old school BBC sounding voice I mean it just sounds so natural and if you hadn't said you voiced it yourself I would have believed it was an actual announcement from back in the day.
